No of course it's not just you, it's been like this off and on for the last year and a half... remember Jan '03 when we could not post any attachments and they deleted a few old threads? and then on May '03 when suddenly about ten days' attachments disappeared....and then reappeared, only in all the wrong threads?... in a way that was hilarious....
But I'm getting so fed up with this lag, when I first joined I was on a lousy dial up and could post in seconds, now I got DSL and my posts will hang out there for ages!

I am very curious as to the nature of this site's malfunctions.

As a website programmer and tech person, I can hardly imagine what situation would cause the behaviours we experience here now anytime we log in to view or post. The operators must be running this site on a very slow computer or the service is shared with many other services being handled by that same machine.
One has to wonder.

Anyway. It's great being able to chat with my buddies if even with this inconvenience.
You guys should show up on Yahoo or MSN every so often!
