A new neighbour

OOC. Kevin Smith, 34 years old, divorced 6 months ago after a 7 year marriage.
6'1", 190 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes.

IC. Walks out of the airport towards my car. Smiles as i feel the sun shining outside.
Finally vacation, but what a way to spend the last two weeks before vacation,
having to go away for work instead of being at home getting ready for the summer.

Looks at the clock as i jump into my car .. 9 am, well i should be home before 11 if the traffic isn't to heavy.
Turns on the radio and drives out on the highway, singing for myself.
Smiles when i realise that this must be the first time i have been singing for 6 months, maybe the wounds after
the divorce are finally healing.
Saying to myself.
"Kevin its time you pull yourself together and start to go out again, a date or two can't hurt you."

The radio starts to tell the weather forcast, sunny and around 90 degrees for the next two weeks.
Sounds great, that will give me a chance to get a tan and use the pool on the backside of the house.

Hmmm, speaking about the house, i wonder what has happened to the house next door.
I hope somebody finally have bought it, its been empty for so long now, i hate that For Sale sign and those empty windows.

Turns right from the highway heading for home, only 40 minutes now and i will be there.

Kate Wilson

Kate Wilson was a business woman, very smart and very athletic. Her love of swimming kept her fit, also gave her the chance to instruct swimming on the weekends. Being at 5.8 and her slim form only 120 pounds she seemed lite on her feet. Her swim class was taking up most of her time, she had a couple of new students coming in and had to spend extra time with them to help them catch up with there classmates as they enroled late.

She was suppose to meet the movers around noon, She "sighed" as she looked at the clock, it is noon now. Kate wouldnt get out of her swim class for about 15 more minutes. She wanted to take her shower after finishing up her class, but she wasnt going to have time she would have to get to her new home quickly. Meaning she would just through on her pair of shorts over her bikini bottoms, it was a warm day anyway she thought to herself as she headed for the lockers rooms.

Tieing her long auburn hair back in a ponytail, then pulling on her shorts and grabbing her bag she heads out of the gym to her car. Kate was hoping she the movers would be late she wasnt going to make it to her new home for about 40 minutes.

Getting on the freeway heading for her new home. She couldnt wait to start working on the new place, having a 2 bedroom house and 2 baths, nice big kitchen and living room was going to be nice for a change. The back yard having its privacy fence, she could work on her all over tan in privacy.

Kevin

Almost home now, only 25 minutes or so to go.

Oops, i almost forgot, i dont have any food at home other than some dry bread.
I better pick up some groceries at the store before heading home.

Walking out of the store an hour later, hoping i got everything i need.
Lets see, wine, beef, vegatables, bread, some fish and a few other things, well that should be enough for a day or two, the freezer will take care of the rest.
Climbs into the car and puts down the groceries on the passenger seat and drives away towards home.

I'm glad i have done my workout regularly even after the devorce,
the home gym has been great for me to help me stay fit and after all 34 is no age is it ? ...
It cant be by the smile in the face of the girl working at the store.

Whats the clock ?... hmmm almost noon, well three more blocks and you are at home Kevin.

Sense Kates birthday passed getting the new house was like her birthday gift to herself. She was only a few blocks from her new home when she saw the moving truck pull up. The street she drove down was full of trees and flowers in front of every house. Made the new nieghborhood feel special to her with all the fresh trees and flowers. The color really brightened the block making it look beautiful Like walking into a dream.

Kate was a couple blocks from her new home and was excited to open the doors for the movers. So they could start moving her things in.

Kevin

Kevin smiled for himself as he saw the familiar houses in his neighbourhood,
still looking as inviting as it did 7 years ago when he moved into this part of the town.
Turning left into his home street, waving to old Mrs Jones as always
walking along the street with her dog.

There it was number 24, his own home, a beautiful house, maybe to big for himself but
why move when he liked the neighbourhood and could afford it.
He drove up to his garage and parked his car, dropping his key on the floor as he removed it.
At first getting a little angry then laughing for himself as he was searching for the key
"why worry, you have a few weeks to find the key."

Kate

Kate pulled in to number 23 and into the driveway, getting out of the car still in her string bikini top and shorts and sandles. She was lite on her feet for being at 5.8, had a smile that would melt a childs heart. Gracefully walking around to the front of the house to open the front door the movers stopped her on the lawn. Her hair tied back in a loose ponytail flowing down her back and the sun beating down on her copper locks making it look almost like gold.

The braid shouldered man walked up to her and said, "Its about time you got here Ms. Wilson"

Kate was to happy to let this man unset her, her smile widened and walked up to the front door and opened it.

She heard the movers outside opening the truck and start unloading her furniture as she set down her purse on the kitchen counter. Kate walked back out to the patio watching the movers unload her sofa.

Kevin

Kevin finally found his key, picked up his groceries and stepped out of the car and closed the door.

When he turned around he could see a big truck infront of number 23, and a couple of movers
standing close to it looking a little frustrated.
How could he missed the truck when he drove up to his house ?
It looks as if we finally will get a couple of new neighbours in this street.

Suddenly a woman in bikini and shorts walked out from the back of the house.
Kevin couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the tall woman with her golden hair walk towards the movers.
Could this be his new neighbour ? .. Well, whoever she was there must be some very lucky guy out there too.

He kept watching as she walked up to the door, viewing her body from behind, noticing her long legs,
her fit body, her hair in a long ponytail. He could see her opening the door and stepping in to the house.

Kevin woke up from his day dreaming and started to walk to his own door slowly.

The sofa put in front of the fire place and the big bear skin rug would set in front of it later when it was uppacked Kate went back outside.

Hearing glass shatter on the sidewalk she ran to the moving truck to find out what had broke.

Kate running to the truck she noticed her new nieghbour, tall, brown hair, and brown eyes. GODS he looks handsome she thought and stopped right where she stood watching him walk to his front door.

Kevin

Kevin heard a noise behind hima s from broken glass, turned around and
could see the woman standing on the sidewalk staring at him.
He smiled towards this unknown beauty realising this could be a good opportunity to get to know her.

Kevin walked slowly towards her, thankful of his sunglasses as he viewed her from head to toe.
As he got closer to her he saw how gorgeous she was, with her golden hair,
her pretty face and a body that any woman would kill for.
As he reached her he said
"Hi, I'm Kevin, your next door neighbour."

Kate

Kate stood there for a minute her sunglasses covering her emarald eyes. His hair looks like silk in the sunlight she thought to herself, and those eyes she thought would perse anyones soul.

Kate heard him say, "Hi, I'm Kevin, your next door neighbour."

Kate came out of her gaze from looking and watching him and said, "Hi Im Kate, your new nieghbour"

Kate was nervous meeting her new nieghbour and on moving day. Her chest rising and falling quickly and her 36dd breasts heaving right along with everybreath she took.

Kate extended a hand to give him a hand shake, hoping he wouldnt notice how nervous she really was.

Kevin heard her say
"Hi Im Kate, your new neighbour"

He looked at her seeing her pretty face close to him and almost licked his lips as he saw her full breasts infront to him.

He saw her extended hand and as he took it he was hoping she hadn't noticed him staring at her. Her hand was warm, warmer than his.

He smiled into her eyes and said
"Nice to meet you Kate, I hope you will enjoy our new house"

Seeing Kevin smile made her relax a bit, and return the smile.

Im sure I will enjoy my new home as soon as the movers are done getting everything in the house. She had said to Kevin still holding his warm hand in hers, gazing intently into his big brown eyes.

Almost forgetting about the glass she heard break moments ago. She turned to the moving truck and back to Kevin not wanting to let go of his hand kept her in her spot. Also new that the movers werent going to get everything where she wanted it.

Kate had been single for so long she had forgot how to act around someone like Kevin who she was attracted to. Her hand sweating and hoping he didnt notice as she stood there staring into his eyes.

Kevin

Keven saw her warm smile as she said
"Her new house"
Thinking to him self "HER house" could Kate really be single ?

He saw her turning around towards the movers and then back at him, realising that she might want to go inside her house and take care of the furniture.
They were still holding each others hands and as he wanted her to stay a little longer he said
"Don't hesite to give me a call if you need help with anything, whether it is borrowing a hammer or a cup of sugar." with a warm smile in his face.

Kate

Kate relaxed a bit more when Kevin offered to help out with borrowing things.

Kate started to pull away but stopped and smiled at Kevin. Then said, "I'll keep that in mind Kevin"

Her sunglasses sliding down her sweaty nose and she tilted her head down looking over the top of them, the smile on her face only brightened the day. Her emerald eyes flashing quickly up and down Kevin from head to toe. Taking in his form, Kate's hand slipped from Kevin's as she took a step back.

She finally got the nerve to ask, "Kevin why dont you come over for coffee later"

The boxes that the movers are unloading now goes to the kitchen and the coffee will be on later, Kate threw in.

Kevin

Kevin could see her emerald eyes for the first time as her sunglasses was sliding down her nose, eyes that added to the attraction he already felt for her.

Her bright smile shining in her face as she said.
"Kevin why dont you come over for coffee later" …… " The boxes that the movers are unloading now goes to the kitchen and the coffee will be on later".

Kevin could feel his heart jump, this sounded to good to be true.
He smiled back at her and said.
"Thank you Kate."
Looking down at the groceries in his hand he added
"I have a few things to take care of first, and i assume you have too, but i will be over later and once again …. Welcome to our street."

She looked towards the movers then back at Kevin, laughted and said.
"I sure have but i hope to see you later Kevin"

Kevin smiled at Kate, then turned around and started to walk back towards his house, thinking about his own excitement when he moved into the house 7 years ago. As he reached his house he turned around and waved towards Kate before opening the door and steping inside.

Kate

Hearing Kevin say, "Thank you Kate." She noticed him look down at the bags in his hand. Her heart pounding and she was sure Kevin could hear it.

Kevin's eyes met hers and he added, "I have a few things to take care of first, and i assume you have too, but i will be over later and once again …. Welcome to our street."

Kate breathless said, "Thank you Kevin for the warm welcome, Im liking my new home more already seeing I have a nice nieghbour"

Kate was feeling like a giddy school girl wanting a boy to ask her out on a date. Kate hadnt dated in over a year, and maybe it was time she did she thought to herself. She glanced at the movers then back into Kevin's eyes, she laughed and said, "I sure have but i hope to see you later Kevin"

She stood there watching Kevin walk to his door glancing at his cute butt as he walked up the stairs to his front door. Then he turned and waved and slipped into his front door, closing it behind him.

Kate turned and "sighed" as she herself headed inside to unpack the boxes for the kitchen.

A few hours later everything was unloaded and the movers were gone, the sun starting to set Kate walked out to her patio with a cup of coffee, sitting in her patio swing to enjoy the cool evening breeze. She wondered if Kevin would join her, her thoughts remembering every detail of his face and how handsome he was. She hadnt felt this way in a long time, but was he attracted to her she thought.

Kate "sighed deeply" as she lost herself in her thoughts. Her new house some what in order and dishes washed and put away. The big bear skin rug in its place by the fire.

Kevin

Kevin walked into his kitchen and put away the groceries in the fridge. He looked at his watch and saw that it was only 1 pm, and it would probably take a few hours for the movers and Kate to get ready.
He found his swim shorts, made a quick change and walked out to the backside of his house, thinking its time for some swimming as he dived into the pool. He swam around slowly in the pool enjoying the warm summer day.
His thoughts drifted away towards Kate, the woman he just met and hoped to get to know real well during the next months. What a woman he thought, her golden hair, her emerald eyes, her warm smile, her body .. yes what a body he thought for himself.

Is it just me hoping or did she really like me, her voice sounded a little excited as she said
"Thank you Kevin for the warm welcome, Im liking my new home more already seeing I have a nice neighbour"
Kevin could feel his heart beating faster and had to start splashing water over his head to calm down.
Thinking ... You better stop this, or you will get very disappointed in the end, she asked you over for a cup of coffee, not for a date !!.

Kevin heard the truck drive away and thought it was time to get ready. He climbed out of the pool, walked into his house, shaved and had a shower. He found some clean clothes, got dressed and walked into the kitchen, picked up a bottle of white wine, wrapped it up in some paper and was ready to go.

He had a quick check in the mirror as he was about to leave, saw his white slacks and and T-shirt, smiled to himself and stepped out of his house.

He walked over to Kates house feeling the cool evening breeze. He could feel his hand shaking as he rang the bell at her door.

Kate enjoyed the cool breeze on her face for a few minutes longer smelling the fresh flowers all around. She stepped back inside to take a quick shower and put coffee on before Kevin came. Changing into a nice summer dress that came just above the knees she heard the door bell.

Kate thought, "Glad I made coffee before finishing getting dressed"

Her hair barely dry and bare feet she quickly goes to the door, stopping in the hall way to look herself in the mirror making sure her blue dress looked alright. Then headed to the front door to open it and invite Kevin in.

Slowly she opens the door and says, "Welcome Kevin, please come in"

Smiling she steps back to let Kevin enter.

Kevin

The door opened slowly.
Kevin could see Kate in a blue summer dress saying
"Welcome Kevin, please come in"
Kevin couldn't move, he just stood there staring at her, he had seen her earlier and knew that she was beautiful but it wasn't until now he realised how beautiful she was.
He saw her smiling as she stepped back into the house.
Kevin managed to say
"Thank you, Kate" as he walked into her house.

He finally remembered the bottle, pulled it out from behind his back and said
"Welcome Kate, im glad to get you as my new neighbour"
as he gave her the gift.

Kate

Kate's face flushed deep crimson as she saw what was in Kevin's hand. She wasnt sure what to say to her handsome neighbour but she spoke and hoped he didnt hear the lust in her voice.

"Kevin thank you, I wasnt expecting you to get me anything"

Kate had turned the light down low after she had got out of the shower, so the room was in a deep glow and a few candles scattered around the room to add to the lighting of the low lights. She then remembered that she had coffee on as she gazed deeply into Kevin's eyes as he walked into the house and she closed the door behind him.

Kate asked, "would you like coffee, and please come in and make yourself at home"

Kate waited for Kevin to answer but also very nervous, she hadnt been attracted to too many men and this one was deathly handsome she wanted to kiss him right then and there but she didnt think that a good idea. He might be married she thought....

Kevin saw Kate flushing as she reached for the gift.

He heard her say
"Kevin thank you, I wasnt expecting you to get me anything"
and thought for himself, wasn't it a hint of lust there, naaa it must have been a little nervousness.

Kevin himself was very nervous, being in Kate's house for the first time.
He saw her gaze into his eyes as she said
"would you like coffee, and please come in and make yourself at home"

Kevin said
"Yes please" and almost said i want a kiss too as he stepped into the room.

Kevin was surprised how fast Kate had got her things in place,
she had been here only a few hours and her home already looked warm and inviting.

Kevin smiled as he entered her living room, noticing a big bear rug infront of of the fire.
He turned around and said
"Nice rug you got Kate, did you shoot the bear yourself .... or was it your husband ?"

Kate

Kate closed the door behind Kevin and went to get coffee. Setting down the bottle on the counter and poured two cups of coffee. She then heard him ask, "Nice rug you got Kate, did you shoot the bear yourself .... or was it your husband ?"

She was glad that he wasnt in the kitchen with her she blushed deeply trying to contain herself and find her voice.

She finally said, "It was a gift from my father after he came back from the mountians last summer........Uhm, I dont have a husband"

Picking up the coffee she walked into the living room, handing Kevin his coffee and meeting his eyes.

Kevin heard her say
"It was a gift from my father after he came back from the mountians last summer........Uhm, I dont have a husband"

Kevin couldn't belive what he heard, could this be true, Kate being single just like him.
He looked up as she entered the room, moving with a catlike sensuality as she walked towards him.

He gazed into her eyes as she gave him his coffee and said
"Thank you Kate"
He hesitated for a moment then said
"No husband, does that mean that you are single like me or do you have a boyfriend ?"

Kevin waited with some anxiety for Kate's answer.

Kate

With shakey hands Kate put down the coffee eyes deeply intraced with Kevin's. Then he asked, "No husband, does that mean that you are single like me or do you have a boyfriend ?"

Kate tried finding her voice before she answered him and hoped that she didnt sound excited to hear that he was single. Kate finally spoke and said, "Im single, have been for over a year and havent dated either. And no boyfriend" She added at last. Then she had to ask to make sure she heard him right, "your single, no wife of girl friend"

Sitting down on the couch before her knees gave out in anticipation gazing into Kevin's eyes deeply.

Kevin felt as if he was drowning as he looked into Kates emerald eyes, he saw her hesite, as to find her voice before
she finally spoke and said
"Im single, have been for over a year and havent dated either. And no boyfriend"

Kevins heart jumped with joy, she was single like him, maybe this was a chance to start all over again.

He heard her add "Your single, no wife of girl friend ?"
as she sat down on the couch beside him. Their knees touched quickly before Kate adjusted her legs and gazed into Kevins eyes.

Kevin didnt know where to begin, but realised that Kate probably had been going through the same emotions as he had done and said
"No, i got divorced 6 months ago and lived single since then and dating, well i havent been in the mood for that since my divorce,
but it feels as if i am ready to start dating again now".
Kevin felt as if he was blushing but he hoped that Kate wouldn't notice in the now dark room.
