A New England 'snowmageddon' ??

18-24" in RI is predicted they say this could come close to matching 78. Kind of ironic seeing the anniversary of that monster, just passed.

I got a ton of sterno and propane for the grill.

I still cannot understand everyone's obsession with bread and milk. There's plenty of other things I would rather eat and drink.

I also have an unopened bottle of Jack, you know just to stay warm of course.

Closer to two feet they say for me, but I sincerely doubt it.

Not that it matters; one of my vehicles is a 4x4 SUV and I have a snow removal contractor for my house.

The Weather Industry has added a lot of faux drama to storm reporting in recent years, but the truth is it's just snow and freezing rain and hurricane force arctic winds...we get them once or twice a winter in Canada anyway.

and toilet paper, I mean, doesn't bread bind you up?

People are doing World War Z level stockpiling in Massachusetts. No regular gas at the pump, just 93 octane. No bread on the shelves in two stores I went to. I got the last box of kitty litter.

Anarchy.

Weather terrorism at its finest. This isn't 30 years ago, even in a big storm how long would you be cut off as far as food goes?

I love the weathermen. What other job are you surrounded by millions of dollars in equipment, people hang on your every word and at the end of the day you're wrong constantly, but people will still believe you next time.

Oh, wait, President of the US Maybe?

Well it is winter still.

I still have to go to work Friday and Saturday. The mail must be delivered.
but, I may be stranded in the city of Worcester
the hour ride home in snow will not be an hour, but three or more.

Good to see you!

Stay safe in the storm.

And the NFL wants to have the Superbowl in NY next February.

Oh, those poor, poor bastards.

New Jersey, not NYC. Either way, so it might be a little snowy with freezing temps.

Wasn't it freezing when they played in the Dallas Super Dome a few years ago? Those poor, poor fans had to wear a warm coat whilst walking to the entrance. Awwww, $5K a ticket and they complained.

wait, was that a flake... I think its started. need to get to the bunker now.

oh yeah, this is normal winter weather, I remember now. its like the good old days.

Right, I really meant Syracuse and not northern Jersey.

IslandMan, what do you think Roger Goodell is thinking now less than a week after the latest Super Bowl?

(searched you the other night after seeing you mention my moniker twice in here)

No one believed me when I said it would be a rough winter. We are supposed to get 8 inches in detroit tonight I think

they are predicting two feet or so as well as 50-70 mph winds up here in maine. everybody is freaking out more than "the judgement day 12/21/2012" thing. all the stores were packed when i was driving home from work. personally my old chevy pickup has a plow i should be alright and i might make some cash haha the thing i hate most about any snow storm is almost everyone forgets how to drive completely.
