a mute character

anyone have any ideas for a good plot for a lesbian story involving a mute character around 18 years old? someone requested i them a story awhile back and i'm about finished with the one i'm working on now so i figured i might finally give it try, but i can't think of a plausible plot.

a mute girl who's 18...had one in my chem. class...but I was more interested in her translater who must've been around in her 30s. I'd probably love to read along the lines the mute girl crushing on her translator...making it every way possible to spend more time together...and I trust you from there.

that's two for the translator. i was thinking along those lines myself, but i've never known anyone who was mute before personally. do you remember anything about the translator you knew? like who she worked for, etc.? anything would be helpful.

I know NOTHING about the translator...only the character traits of the mute girl as we talked online a lot since we were lab partners. Mute girl was accomodated by the school and not any agency as far as I know. Often, she complained about her translator b/c the translator didn't know how to sign science vocabs. that much and spelled them most of the time. Hope this helped a bit. thats cool just thinkng a mute character from a male/female point of view would be cool too. i know its been done in movies and stuff but it still would be cool to read
