Aaaawww it looks like a puppy
hehehe, yup, and he actually packs a surprisingly large punch seeing as how he's a quarter the size of the rest of the characters.

Yes, I understand an A-10 is very lethal against ground troops, especially with a gun that can pump out 4,200 rounds a minute. But still, we're talking about a dragon here!

Hence, I was only giving a hypothetical responses to Aeroil chivalrous battles against a dragon. Judging by his sig, I wouldn't want Aeroil taking on his domme either.

Actually what most people don't know is that the A-10 also fires a 30MM version of the "Silver Bullet" DU Penetrator rounds.

Combat mix - one round of armor piercing high explosive followed by six rounds of incendiary high explosives. The first round would punch a hole and the next six would enter the tank and obliterate everything inside. That depleted uranium would punch through a lot.

The A-10 specialized in something called "penetration before detonation". (And yes, I have that on a tee-shirt. :p ) The weaponry was designed to go in deep then detonate rather than a surface explosion. Excellent for tanks, hardened shelters, underground hangers, and such.

I know...I LOVE the A-10's. Wish there were some around here.

Hmm, I don't really know anything about modern killing technology, maybe I should learn a bit, can design or redesign some of my own vehicles (for my book) if I get some ideas.

Well I'll tell you how the A-10 was designed. They took a 17 foot long absolutely horrifyingly kickass weapon system. Then build an aircraft around it. Make it triple redundant (the A-10 can fly with an OMG amount of battle damage) and then figure out how to cram in a pilot seat. That's basically how the A-10 came into being. So for yourself pick a weapon system...then build the craft around it. :catroar:

In any case, I'd never point [my dad] towards Lit. anyway, so that's a moot point.
Ummm... what makes you so sure he's not already here?

Holy crap I've been quoted in a sigline!

I'm honored..

We dragons have to skick together eh... oh wait.. I'm not a dragon anymore. Oh whatever.

Hijack over, go back to talking about your planes which I know nothing about.

What can I say...it was a neat line. I liked it so I'm using it. But i can't use it without giving credit to the original creator!

Hmm, I only have two kinds of fighter-type ships in my book, the Valcorian Flanker of course, very small automated ship with two low-power lasers on the front, meant primarily for hunting down enemy fighters, and the Zenatross 'Reds Hunter' fighter jet (The Valcorians' colour is red) which is basically a very fast ship that is used for bombing raids on Valcorian ground troops, they usually make very brief appearances on the battle field or else the Valcorians sick flankers on them and they don't live long when that happens.

err, anyway, I should probably design some more, find a way to work them into the book.
