A little help with disconnects on chat

Hello there...are you tired of being disconnected from chat just because you are checking your email? Well thanks to one of our chatters drusus (thank you by the way) I have looked into various browsers on how to change a few settings on your browser ( I have tested these on a wired computer. I cannot say how it will work in mobile browsers)

So

CHROME - hit the 3 dots at the top
click on performance
under general look for the option Always keep these sites active

add literotica.com

(I had to go into add sites manually)


BRAVE (the one I use personally)

click the three lines at the top right hand corner

go down to system

scroll down to memory

look for the always keep sites active and add literotica.com

FIREFOX
There does not seem to be the same settings but..

Go to the Firefox menu (three horizontal lines) > Settings > General.

Under the "Startup" section, check the box that says "Restore previous windows and tabs" to automatically reopen all your tabs from the last session.(this might not load correctly)

You can also use an extension installed in fire fox such as keep session alive
(i have not personally tested this I just looked it up)


EDGE And if you insist on useing what I call internet exploder or as they call it now edge.(its just exploder with a different skin)

click the three dots at the top go into system and performance

click add site under never put these sites to sleep and add literotica.com

SAFARI go to settings
Go to apps
go to safari
open links then tap in background

If there are anymore browsers I will attempt to look them up just let me know.
 
Hi, thanks for the tips - this doesn’t seem to be available/ working on my phone, (on Safari) and I haven’t been able to log back on for the past hour or so - is chat down at the moment?
 
For Brave mobile
In the settings go to site settings and allow notifications for litercotic.com/chats

Thank you Sandra. I am sorry I am afraid I have an android phone and I don't have access to an iphone. I will try to research some time soon and post that for both android and apple. I have just had family obligations the past few weeks.
