A little confused about editing

How do I edit a story that's already posted? I noticed a very tiny missing 'that' in one of my stories and it's driving me nuts.

And is there any way to 'take down' a story you've posted?

I'm just wondering because I don't see any of these options anywhere.

Submit the edited version of the story like you would submit a normal story, but with the word "EDITED" next to the title. The edited version will be put in place of what's there currently.

For example, if the story is "Jim and Jenna", enter the edited version as "Jim and Jenna EDITED".

I had an answer but Dampy's was much better so I edited mine.

I've never resubmitted a story for mistakes. I'm sure my stories have plenty, but I prefer to just walk by, closing my eyes and humming loudly whenever I encounter one.

In a way, they are anonymous - assuming your real name isn't "directorx."

Other than that, no.

To take down a story, make a submission with the same title as the story you want removed, and put "DELETE" after the title. Ex: My Story - DELETE.

Then, in the notes box at the bottom of the submission page, put something like, "Please remove this story."

It may take a day or so, but it'll be removed.

Oh, yeah! If you want to fit in with the folks here in the AH you just HAVE to post a neked picture of yourself (I perfer full frontal nudity, but others are pro-ass).)

It's kind of a tradition... helps with the visualization of the person, ya know... just trying to be helpful with visualization. It's not like anybody here would perv on the picture or nuffin... yup, just little 'ol visualization helper Safe_Bet, that's me!

I've noticed some missing character development in some of my stories. And missing slimy details is some of the sex scenes, and missing sex scenes in others... If I stop to think about it, it's overwhelming. Fortunately, none of this will affect my paycheck (since there isn't one.)
