A little bit of Mountain trivia for you all :)

Just yesterday, I had a bit of a debate with a friend about salt.
She said she doesn't use normal salt any more.....she only uses celery salt, so she's much healthier now.
I gave up trying to show her that NaCl is still salt and does the same thing to her body, no matter what the source was

Oh, I see.
Organic celery makes a HUGE difference!
:D

My son told me a quote he'd heard, don't know who said it originally. But it's great:

"It's hard to win an argument with smart people.
But it's impossible to win one with stupid people."

I mostly just walk away from the terminally dumb. Can't accomplish anything there. Robin Williams had an album that pretty much expressed it "Reality: what a concept!"

In Maine, we kept our ocean.

That's about the only difference.

We hid ours...buncha sneaky bastards, here.

400 - 600 million years? Isn't that stuff past it's FDA expiration date?

See below

Nope, I believe that stuff has a shelf life of somewhere around 1 billion years so you're still good to go

see?

The irony is that a good chunk of the people who live in West Virginia don't believe the world is old enough for the Iapetus Ocean to have ever existed.

How long have you lived here?
