(Gee, can't even tell I was gone with as much as I've been posting the last two days.. *laughing*)

Hypothetically, let's say we were going to have a literotica CD, a soundtrack if you will-- but instead of the 'bow chicka-bow-bow' porn music, there was a song describing each poster\writer here?

What would yours be-- inlclude a snippet of the lyrics if you think people probably haven't heard it.. What song best describes you?

Can you think of a song that describes some of your fellow Literoticans? (Play NICE, people.)

Just another meaningless question out of the mouth of Endlessly.. :)

Ah let's see. Actually there's this song who pretty much says it all.

Bon Jovi: It's My Life.

"It's my life, it's now or never. I ain't gonne live forever. I just wanna live my life alive"

Nuff said.

The song that I would like to have associated with me would be:

Queen. Who Wants To Live Forever

But touch my tears with your lips
Touch my world with your fingertips
And we can have forever
And we can love forever
Forever is our today
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever?
Forever is our today

Who waits forever anyway?

For me, it would have to be something funny, I don't um.

Tie a yellow ribben around Carl's big...

CARL!!! "You can't say that..."

"What, I was going to say mouth."

Carl.

are you lonesome tonight.......do you miss me tonight........ are you sorry that we're apaaaaaaaaaarttttt?

**my lousy rendition dedicated to shylady**

my song is
I want a lover with a slow hand mmmmmm

come here cg *kiss*

I would be a poignant little song sung by Kermit's nephew Robin on the muppet show album.

Halfway up the stairs by A. A. Milne.

"Halfway up the stairs is the place where I sit.
"There isn't any other place that's quite like it.
"It not at the bottom, It's not at the Top.
"Halfway up the stairs is the place that I always stop."

It's the perfect song for a mugwump like me.

Piece of My Heart -- Joplin version.

You know you got it, if it makes you feel good.

Some folks like to get away,
Take a holiday from the neighborhood,
Hop a flight to Miami Beach or to Hollywood,
But me I'm taking a Greyhound on the Hudson River Line,
I'm in a New York State of Mind....

That's if I have to have lyrics. "Rhapsody In Blue" if I can choose anything I want.

A song for Beebee?? Hmmm (HEY ENDLESSLY!!! WELCOME BACK) leseeeeee...

Does anyone remember (and Im showing my age here) the song 'Self-control' by Laura Branigan??? Thats my song.

Course Im not that old. (28) But there are others younger than me that are probably looking at the screen like "what the F***?"

~~BBB~~

Alive, by Edwin.

"Aint it good, to be alive"

Need I say more?

This has got to be one of the most incredible video's I have seen. Check it out.
Makes you feel, truly glad to be alive.

Kat :)

Well, the song by Barbara Streisand, People comes to mind.
"People, people who need people. Are the luckiest people in the world"

*hope that that doesn't cause me to be shunned*

I can't think of a single song that sums up my life. Is that a good or a bad thing?

Well, Ravenloft's must be the theme to Veggie tales................

Raspberry swirl by Tori Amos...
Does that fit me???

Everybody knows i'm her friend, everybody knows i'm her man...

Do do do do dodo...

Er... (Cough cough...) Sorry...

I think this fits Literotica pretty well.

No use in runnin'
It's always the same
You can count on the panic
It's the faces that change

Tangled and Dark
Bonnie Raitt

how about "Welcome to the Jungle" for Lit?? *chuckles*

and lately I am really into Macy Gray.. she has a couple on her CD that really get my juices going (pathetic that i don't know their names)

one starts out like this....

Hush, the neighbors will hear your moanin and groanin
I just can't help it, 'specially when we are bonin'
I can take your fears away...., he's sayin
It's so much better when we do it my way

(somethin like that hehe)

Well, I sort of like:

She keeps her Moet and Chandon in a pretty cabinet,

"Let them eat cake" she says, just like Marie Antionette.

Building a remedy for Kruschev and Kennedy,

And anytime an invitation you can't decline.

Caviar and cigarettes, well versed in etiquette,

Extraordinarily nice...
(Killer Queen by Queen)

I love you guys!
And Nurse, I know how much you hate redundant subjects, but... Well, we LOVE redundancy. It's safe, it's warm... It's like a warm... safe...something.

:)

*grins at beebee* Thanks hon.

For sammyjo, I would have to say 'Waterbaby' by sneaker pimps.. 'I wash the streets from your skin when you come home' reminds me of all of the posts she's written about her Master.

For Havoc I would have to say 'Run for the roses..' *grin*

DCL, I worship you for choosing Billy Joel. *grin*

For me? Dunno. There's the lyrics I include as my signature in my E-mails, from Savage Garden's song 'Fly me to the moon and back.' (She can't remember a time when she felt needed, if love was red then she was colorblind; all her friends were on trial for treason and crimes that were never defined.. she's saying 'Love's like a barren place, and reaching out for human faith is like a journey I just don't have a map for..')

But if I had to choose.. Either 'Heart with no companion' by Leonard Cohen or 'Go to extremes' by Billy Joel or 'Everything you want' By Vertical Horizon or the old classic 'You don't know me' or..

*cough* You get the idea.

A song? Only one? Can't do it.....

I can narrow it down to 3 tho'... you know, we all go through so may personality shifts over the course of even one day, not to mention a week, month or year!!

But my #1 song which I identify with is:

"Why is it that as we grow older and stronger the roadsigns point us adrift, and make us afraid?
Saying "You never can win" "Watch your back" "Where's your husband?"
I don't like the signs that signs that the signmakers made.
So I'm gonna steal out with my paint and my brushes,
I'll change the directions, I'll hit every street...
And in the morning you wake up and the signs point to you saying
"I'm so glad you finally made it here.
You thought nobody cared, but I did, I could tell.
And this is your year.
And it always starts here" and oh..
You're Aging Well "
-Dar Williams, "You're Aging Well" from The Honesty Room

Send would be Indigo Girls, "Watershed":
"Every five years or so I look back on my life,
And I have a good laugh"

Third would be Jackson Browne, "The Load Out"

I'm a little bit, um......split personality? :)
