A bot is a program that's designed to do certain functions in chat and messaging arenas. Generally they mimick humans by posting certain types of things in their programming. You can't tell it's a bot by looking at it, but you can eventually figure it out when you see it's posting style, if you're familiar with such a thing. Bots are not interactive. Eggys can be, though, but still those aren't very human.

You should read p_p_man's stories, Dix. He's not a bot. He's just pissed off because he's not American.
