That's certainly true. I've received a rather cold reception there. In that thread, I've seen pages upon pages of praise piled on pictures of a faceless rack or a disembodied cock. These shots I've posted are, in my opinion, far more dynamic and provocative, yet they receive little or no response. That is, of course, what I'm looking for (as is anyone who offers pictures to the critique of the masses).

So I'm trying a few different experiments to see what it is that missing/broken/misplaced about these pictures. Perhaps the vanilla audience is turned off by what they don't understand. It certainly wouldn't be the first time. This thought is what led me here, to see how this fares amongst the enlightened.

I welcome any critique, accolade, discussion...

I loved the cat outfit, but wasn't big on the series primarily just because they didn't possess that same air of mystery or intensity the others seemed to. Might have been the cock, might have been the lighting. Too mainstream for my taste, which is, of course, quite subjective. The last couple of the series did a little better, in my opinion.

The Education one probably will appeal to several schoolgirl fetishists, but I felt it too cliche to appreciate it much. Might be because I have just seen so much of that in the past. I also have a problem with contrivity, and it somehow seemed more staged in comparson to the others.

Now for the good stuff: I LOVED the Savage one, Lord Save Us, and Smell. Pierced was cool too, even though I wasn't quite sure what you were doing. Maybe that was why it appealed. I assume since it was called 'pierce' you must have been piercing something, but what the hell is there to pierce back there? Anyway, it opened my imagination and conjured up thoughts of a man's hot breath on my hip, as I ponder nervously "what's next"? Maybe he runs his tongue up the side for a taste? Maybe he 'pierces' the tender flesh with his teeth? Maybe nothing nothing at all? Either way, I found it quite erotic. I don't even want to know what you were really doing now that I think about it.

The claws were a nice touch, too. I have never actually seen any erotic art impliment them before.

All in all, I wish there was more of that uniqueness and realism in other S&M photography. The stuff I find is usually big fake breasted blondes in pigtails with cheesy 70's porn lighting who grin stupidly as they are being flogged. Where is the passion, I ask you?

i'd like to see more of your work done in black and white. You might eliminate some of the effects of "club lighting" to which Q-BoU referred, and bring out a few interesting imaginations using gray tones rather than color. Then again, that's just an opinion and we all know what those represent.

I find that I agree with your critique, objectively. Yet, being part of that catsuit shoot was a whole lot more fun than the pictures reveal. The pictures were all a bit too staged... but in between stopping for 'stills', we had a blast! It plays much better on video

The Education shot was from our second trip to the Bondage Ball. Our host asked us to put on a schoolgirl themed performance... If you look in the background of that shot, you can see where she had to write 'God Hates Sluts Hate God' a number of times on the blackboard...

I love the 'Savage' shot as well. It's my 'Neo-Pict' look I love how her eye is locked on the blade. (And I love that those blades only cost me six bucks a piece!)
