A Humorous "Map" of "Literotica City"

Why is this so funny? You should photoshop in Rikers or Alcatraz island for LW.
The LW section of town is not clearly marked as such, but it includes Cuckoldry Quarter, Infidelity Revenge, and at least part of the Swingers & Group Sex Highway. I don't really read stories from that category so I might have missed something, but those seemed to me to be the three main 'subgenres' making up most of the stories there.

IMO there should be a subway system also, or maybe an elevated train system. Let’s call it the Ogg Memorial expressway. With a Colleen Thomas Memorial line.
All of the mass transit (bus, rail, etc.) is part of the LGBTQIA+ Transit Authority. I kind of laughed in my head at the idea of the Trans Tram System. Anyway, I'm too new to recognize those names, sorry.

Ogg & Colleen Thomas are Lit writers who have departed this world. So a memorial featuring them is worthy IMHO
I gathered the fact that they've passed on, but as someone who never knew them, I'm not the best choice of person for memorializing them. People who remember them are free to imagine their memorials wherever it seems appropriate, of course.

Ogg aparently died before you joined- just the month or so before. I don't even remember Colleen. Ogg is @oggbashan

If enough people want to include a memorial to those people I don't mind editing the map a little more. Perhaps it can be Oggbashan Airport? Those are often named after people. If anyone else wants this to happen, please speak up and let's see if there's a consensus on what the memorials should be. I took a peek at this Ogg's CV and it was prolific and diverse, so I'm liking the airport idea. Colleen Thomas seemed to mostly write in the Lesbian genre, so perhaps she can have the transit hub named after her? Thoughts from the community?

Both ideas work for me. I remember Colleen from my old days, I first came here in 2006-2010 and she was popular back then. In 2010 I retired as an erotica writer to concentrate on my marriage. One divorce that had little to do with my choice of hobbies and a few years of boredom later, back here I am again! Heh.

Thanks for including my thoughts. I’m sure there are other people our community remembers fondly who have also passed on, maybe they can be included also. Or maybe the map can stand as the great idea it is well enough on its own.

Knowing I’ll pass on eventually, I’ll create a floating cruise ship slash ferry slash houseboat for myself in the ocean near Celebrity Corner and call it the SS Kitainia (rhymes with Dulcinea) as per my chief muse’s recommendation. Anyone who wants hot erotic fanfics can stop by there. I’m the captain of course. The chief transportation officer for mainland taxis is a disgraced former Hong Kong police detective named Wei Shen. Fans may recognize him from a video game called Sleeping Dogs.

I was thinking of expanding on this idea with something like a travel guide, which would probably go in Humor & Satire, although if it included the map I suppose it would have to go in Illustrated, where it probably wouldn't fit since those mostly seem to include (ostensibly) erotic art. So maybe in Adult Comics instead?
Anyway, other than the category issue, I'm not really 'well-traveled' enough to write about all sections of the city. I get the impression from the way people talk about it that the BDSM districts are heavily patrolled and that minor infractions of the rules will have them trying to escort you toward some other part of town. Meanwhile, roving street gangs infest the LW parts of town and can suddenly appear as if from nowhere, like a shark drawn to the scent of blood. And I've heard reports that the Interracial area ranges from 'too racist' to 'not racist enough' to 'this level of stereotyping is comfy, like a well-worn pair of undies.'
You can hail a ride from the Lickety Split Lesbian Cab Service and head on over to the MC section, full of people with smiles on their faces but emptiness behind them. But the easiest way to get there is over the Bridges of Non-consent, so be sure to tell your driver which one to take! The bridge of Deception is lit with gas lamps and some of the things that seem like exits dump you in the river. Pill pushers and partiers line the way across the bridge of Oblivion, so watch out if anyone offers you a gift! Don't feel pressured to take the bridge of Coercion, because you'll definitely feel pressured once you arrive. And beware of the shiny chrome and glass that make the bridge of Captivation so appealing, because they conceal corrosion and other dangers, and if the drawbridge goes up, you may find yourself trapped...
It's probably too meta and too author-oriented to be broadly accessible to casual readers, so this is probably about as far as it should go, but some of you might find the above ideas humorous, so...
