Oh, Sao... I forgot to tell you, the show that I am seeing Friday. That is Velvet Revolver. MJ is getting us backstage passes, so it shall be loads of fun. I also have another show for you and your hubby. The Blue Man Group has a new show out. They play at the Luxor, if I am not mistaken. I have not seen it, but heard from my friends that it is awesome. Also, go the the Stratosphear. Go the the top and ride the roller coaster. Too much fun. It is pretty far up the strip, though. One of the oldest casinos. Make sure you make the 30 minute drive to the Hoover Dam. AMAZING. Plus you get to see Lake Mead. I so hope you have a good time beautiful girl.

Me streaking? Hardly. Right now I don't want to do what I should be doing. After the 20th, I won't have that problem.

So you're coming to the US and not visiting everyone? Shame on you!!!!

I'll be in Chicago visiting with my brother, but not while you're there.

Hey veebs... I am terrified of rollercoasters at ground level... how would I manage one on the top of a building?? :eek: I must check out the Blue Man Group thanks.... a lot of the shows that I have heard of or been recommended are not on on Mondays and Tuesdays which is when we will be there.

Do you reckon we need a car in Vegas? :kiss:

Woo Hoo DGO!! Congrats on the job.

Sao, you do not need a car, unless you go to the Hoover Dam. If you do not go there, everything is in walking distance. The cab from the airport is very short, as the airport is right off the strip.
 
We are staying in THEHotel at Mandalay.... which is at one end of the strip. We are picking up a car the day we are leaving Vegas to drive to LA. Not much point in having it just sitting there for 2 days not doing much!

I sooooooooo cant wait... this day two weeks I will be waking up in Vegas!!! :nana:

Girl, you are going to have so much fun!! I will be there this weekend. Mandalay Bay is fun. Make sure that you go to the Alladin and Paris Paris and Excalibur. Also, there is indoor rock climbing at GameWorks on the strip. For a good concert, check out what is playing at Sam Boyd (you will need to cab there).

2 days.... sooo little time.....sooo much to see!! I guess we had better not go to bed at all while we are there!!!! :cool:

From what I have seen online there are several designer outlet villages too!!!! Happy Days!!! :D

There are girl. I usually blow a couple of thousand on clothes when I am there. At the Alladin, there are the most wonderful shops. The four corners (where Treasure Island is) has the outlets there.

We are bringing 3 suitcases... 2 of them will be empty going over so we can fill them with shopping!!!! :nana:

Do NOT go to the lingerie shop in the Luxor. Most wonderful items, but I ended up paying 150 dollars on a black bra in there. Stupid me, did not look at the price tag and I was desperate for a black bra and I left mine home.

GF.. you had better buy shares in Victoria Secrets before I get there...... because I will be doing serious damage there!!! The last time I was in a VS shop I spent about $900 there.... the sales girls said the shop should have been renamed "Sao's Secrets" in my honour!!!! :cool:

She also winked at my hubby and told him he was in for a good time with all the lingerie I had bought!!! :D

I order their stuff online but we get hit with a hideous import tax that practically doubles the price of what I have bought. :mad:
 
Darn chick. That hurts hard. I have a VS right around the corner. I wonder if I bought stuff and sent them to you, would you get taxed?

Apparently not... but I wouldnt ask you do to that for me..... once it is posted say in a regular envelope with a description of 2nd hand clothes (no value) for the customs people.
