I am not a Sinead O'Conner fan, but that was hauntingly beautiful. I had to look up the words so I could enjoy it a bit more. Thanks SeaCat.

If I didn't think she was a glorified celebrity spot-light whore, I would have loved it. Amazing how your perception of someone can change the actual quality of their artwork - a shame really.

It's a damn good take.

Sinead is one of those artists whose politics I forget when I listen to their music. Prince is another. I don't care how much they pontificate or stand on their soapboxes -- the celebration of ego tends to do that to many -- when it comes to music, it's an entirely different animal. The telling is in the rendition, and it exists on its own.
