A Good Ramming

And that asshole on the motorbike should be put in jail for causing the incident as well as leaving the scene.

Gotta admit I was impressed with dude staying up. Guarantee I'd have wiped out soon as the car hit me.

Pretty good sized dent he booted in that back door; you can catch a glimpse of it when the car bounces off the meridian (where the great plains begin).

So... The person driving that car overreacted, right? Jerked the the steering wheel, overcompensated the correction?

I mean, can a person really kick a car out of control like that?

I'm sorry to be Debbie Downer and spoil the fun.

It looks like the motorcyclist initiated and is responsible for a major car accident (see the second car).
Or was it taken from a movie scene?

Yes. The guy on the bike was obviously upset enough with the driver for some previous reason not shown in the video and went in for a kick. The driver of the car overreacted and tried to ram him, but lost control and hit center divider.

What I see is the car overtaking the motorcycle from the iside of the left lane, forcing the bike onto the left shoulder.

Either way, bike 1 , car 0.

Loved the Avalanche flip.

The very beginning video shows the end of where the car illegally crossed the lane divider into the lane space of the motorcycle.

Watch the video carefully, there is only 1 person in the car. Yet the divided-off lanes are HOV lanes, High Occupancy Vehicle lanes, used for carpooling. You cannot use them unless there are more than 1 person in the car. Motorcycles are permitted as are electric and hybrid cars with 1 occupant. However, the general rule is that you need more than 1 person in the car to use those lanes.

The motorcyclist may have over-reacted but what happened prior to the video isn't shown. There may have been other things going on we don't get to see.

Either way, had the car not tried to sideswipe the motorcyclist while trying to illegally use the HOV lane, the wreck wouldn't have happened. Good luck explaining that to the insurance company.

Yes, you guys are right.

On 2nd-3rd-4th viewing I turned my impression 180 around.

It's now clear that the motorcycle guy's reaction was defensive, even if over the top.
It also appears that the (car) driver's reaction was 10 x over the top than his.

It now looks as if the driver was trying to harass the motorist, but maybe he was just trying to use the lane to pass another slow vehicle.

Geeze, out of all that clusterfuck only the "innocent bystander" -the second car- got burned.
I wonder if anyone was killed.

The Physics behind the Avalanche flipping is interesting.

Anyone here with a Physics Degree that can explain it in plain English?

Road rage

Yep! People are tense and doesn't take much for their inner-hate to boil over. Not sure why the sheep stomped the guy. People stomping people is routing but sheep are not usually stomping on folks. Maybe the sheep have been riled up by watching fake news. Either way, both videos are Trump's fault.
