A friendly YIM backgammon league

Would anyone be interested in a friendly YIM backgammon league?

Basically all this means is people tell me they are interested.... Once I know how many there are, if there are enough, I will devise a fixture list.

Everyone plays everyone in a best-of-three (so games will either be won 2-0 or 2-1)..... You get 3 points for a win and 1 point if you lose 2-1.

I'll work the tables out and post it here.

No fancy online system... just play the person in YIM and post the result here.

People would have to be willing to arrange the game between themselves, and not leave it ages, as it just holds it up and keeps everyone waiting.

Hopefully the time differences can be overcome.

Maybe the first 6 or 8 can be the trial league. If more want to enter.... maybe we can have 2 divisions... with promotion and relegation.

Or maybe this will die a death.

You have to be willing to play everyone concerned and add them to YIM.... maybe people will make new friends?

You'd think that were the case that yim is used for other things. If I get a little practice in I will consider it.
