Abs, I will miss you with all of my heart.

You have always, always made me smile with the stalking, snert-ing, etc., but there's so much more than that.

You've sympathized with everyone's problems, rants, etc., when you didn't have to.

You've listened to my problems in emails and told me I wasn't a bad person, when I was beginning to think I was. And, although others were there too, you were the first to back me up when I became enraged about ignorance.

Encouragement in every single way. You've always done that.

I understand that sometimes real life takes you away, but please, come back when you can.

I was one of many on this board, just another number when you came along ABS. I like to think I'm a unique individual, and I know that you are. I can feel the sadness your departure is causing this board, and it bothers me to think that no words can help you overcome whatever it is that's pulling you away.

But know one thing ABS, you've made an impact here. You are and always will be a valued member of this board. I could tell you why I'd personally miss you, but I don't want to spoil this post with vulgarities.

The truth is ABS, you've added to the peoples lives around here. Your wit alone guarantees that you will not soon be forgotten, but more than that. Your kindness and support of so many people who have had their own problems cannot be ignored. Be well and hurry back to us. I for one will be watching out for your return.

You have touched me, probably far more than you realise, from so many miles away. You've made me laugh, you've made me cry and you've made me as horny as hell. But, most of all, you have been a loving and caring friend.

Somebody told me you'd started up this thread and I had to break my self-enforced sabbatical to come back and say my goodbyes. But, it won't be goodbye - I intend to stay in touch, one way or another, no matter what happens.

I have been touched by so many people not only from the states but from around the world. Though my heart is heavy right now, my soul is lighter for being allowed to walk your paths, share your words and see beauty in faceless vignettes.
