A Few Words From Our Perfumed Prince.

Oh gee.

Not my prince.

I think this is when little Southern grandmas go, "Bless his heart. He means well."

You think he and Al Gore are Yahoo chat buddies?

OK, I've used up my political quota for the month. Good thing a new one starts tomorrow. :D

I think theyre tired of being drones with nuthin much to do all day, every day.

I shudder to think what would happen to the UK if this twit ever becomes King, as I'm sure many others do. It'd be 'Mad' King George III redux. Fortunately, his sons have the advantage of new bloodlines in their makeup and are actually intelligent and could ably govern, albeit symbolically.

If Charles werent prince what would he do! I mean, is he qualified to do anything useful? So naturally he believes he's God's Ace up the sleeve.

It was more fun in ye olde days, when you got the throne by killing whoever sat there, and the five people closer to it than you.

‘I wanted to express something in the outer world that I feel inside... We seem to have lost that understanding of the whole of nature and the universe as a living entity.’

Green champion: Prince Charles, a long-term committed supporter of the environment, says the modern world has lost the understanding of nature

His impassioned comments come during a film about his belief that unbridled commerce has led to the destruction of farmland and countryside.

If one ever questioned the influence of 'Royalty' on the Brits, the above is a not quite lucid example of a green ideology so righteously believed that the Prince would bankrupt the nation in a rush to return to 'nature'.

The 'nature' referred to, is the pristine, non thinking, predator/prey environment where the mind and achievements of man are destroyed and mother nature's mosquito's are the protected species.

Such a deal!

Typical of the incestuous royalty.

Even if Charles becomes King, and that is by no means a certainty, he will be a constitutional monarch, as all our monarchs have been since the 1689 Bill of Rights.

He knows that he will have no power to DO anything, and in fact will have less influence than he has now and will be constrained by his exclusion from the political process.

His Princes Trust has been and is an example of how to improve the lot of disadvantaged young people. It, and he, should be commended for encouraging young entrepreneurs to set up businesses for themselves. His work in the Duchy of Cornwall has been to show that "greener" methods can be just as profitable as more traditional capitalist ventures without damaging the environment.

He, and his mother The Queen, pay more to the UK state than they get back in expenses. I wish some of our politicians and some other countries' Heads of State could be just as cost-effective. To have a Head of State who pays more than she spends? Who wouldn't want a President who could do that?

But comparing the US president or any other temporary leader to the British Crown is apples and oranges. The comparison would be the PM?

I read his article in the paper the other day, and I think he makes good sense (a little slower on the dash to technology, please).
