A Few of My Thoughts

Here is an edited version of some thoughts posted to a new group a about a yeara ago. It is usually erroneously attributed to George Carlin the actual originator is anymous. I have edited it the suit my personal views!

I like big cars, big boats, big houses, and naturally - big tits. Actually I just like tits size is not as important as shape really.

I think playing with toy guns doesn't make you a killer.

I don't think being a minority makes you noble or victimized.

I have the right not to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird or piss me off. This does not mean that I will be intolerant, I just have the right.

I believe that if you are selling me a Dairy Queen shake, pack of cigarettes, or hotel room you should do it in English.

As of matter of fact, if you are an American citizen you should speak English. My father and grandfather shouldn't have to die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come disrespect ours.

I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you're running from them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the words “freeze” “halt” or “stop” in English, See the previous line.

I thought the Taco Bell dog was funny.

I want them to bring back safe and sane fireworks.

I believe no one ever died because of something Ozzy Osbourne, Ice-T or Marilyn Manson sang.

I don't hate the rich.

I don't pity the poor.

I know wrestling is fake.

I think you can respect and admire women while mentally undressing them.

I own a gun, you can own a gun, and any red blooded American should be allowed to own a gun, but if you use it in a crime then you will serve the time. A rubber band and a paper clip is a dangerous weapon in the hands of someone with malicious intent.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it pisses you off, invent the next operating system that's better and put your name on the building.

I don't agree with hate crime legislation. You're telling me that someone who is a minority, gay, disabled, another nationality, or otherwise has more value as a human being that I do as a white Anglo-Saxon protestant male. Hell, if someone kills anyone, I'd say that it's a hate crime.

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement.

I will not be frowned upon or be looked down upon or be made to keep silent because I have these beliefs and opinions.

I will not conform or compromise just to keep from hurting somebody's feelings.

I believe that if given the chance, Big Business would fuck the worker and take their profits to the bank.

I do not believe that wealth is like water, it does not “trickle down.”

I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised.

I live in Florida, and I voted correctly. I did NOT vote for the GOP puppet: Fmr Governor George W. Bush.

Ugh. That's fucking awful. Speaking a language other than English doesn't "disrespect" this country. It's amazing how offended people become when my friends and I start speaking Spanish with each other.

I can't even begin to respond to those other small-minded, ignorant thoughts.

did you know that english is not the official language of the united states? it's true. the US does not recognize any single language as the nation's official tongue. the cia world factbook lists english and spanish as the nation's languages.

I think that the comment was referring to people who come to this country to live, and never bother learning the language. Living in NY, I hear several different languages being spoken daily, and it doesn't bother me. However, it DOES bother me when people cop an attitude with me because I don't speak a language fluently other than English.

Yes I know there is not an "official" language of the United States. And if you and your friends want to speak another language, go right ahead, but if you expect to sell ME something you better do it in English. My great grandparents had the respect for their new home to learn the language and speak it in public. How can it be a melting pot of great society if some peoples refuse melt into the culture?

Bill Gates is not "big business" he is a single man who did a very good job of improving on an idea and out marketing another single man (Steve Jobs) How Microsoft the business treats it's employess had nothing to do with whether Bill Gates should keep his money. To my knowledge many of his employees have soared to great financial freedom because of him. The two ideas are only mutually exclusive to those who do not see the bigger picture.
