Matt sat in his car as it idled in the parking lot in front of his apartment. He had so much to do to prepare for the trip his fiancé had planned for them. Flush with cash since she gained access to her trust she'd planned a month long tour of Europe. London, Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, Italy, Spain then finally Portugal. It was going to be a whirlwind month and he was looking forward to it but right now he was looking forward to one last visit with Sarah before his fiancé came by to help him pack for the trip.

It'd started innocently enough. Seeing her around the building, hanging out with her while he and his fiancé were at the pool. Having her over for dinner on Friday nights. That all changed on the day she'd asked him to help her move some furniture in her apartment. To this day he couldn't really pinpoint who was the instigator but that afternoon he found himself fucking her against her kitchen counter. She was wild! Far more wild than his fiancé who rarely strayed beyond missionary.

The subsequent months he found himself engineering opportunities to be with Sarah. He knew he had to put a stop to this whole thing but he just couldn't bring himself to do it.

A light tap on the window drew his attention as Sarah slid into the passenger seat behind him. "Told Scott I was going to the store for 'Girl Products'" she said with a snicker as she leaned in to kiss him. The windows were starting to fog slightly as Sarah reached down to lower Matt's zipper. Freeing his cock before lowering her head and taking him deep into her mouth. Matt's eyes closed as Sarah worked him into her mouth. "Fuck I'm going to miss this." he whispered as he ran his fingers through her hair.

His eyes flew open as another loud knock came at his window. His heart sank as he turned and looked at her shocked face.

Annabelle "Anna" Mallory was not prepared to find her fiancé in the state she had found him in that Thursday afternoon when she had come over to help him with packing. And with his neighbor Sarah nonetheless!

Anna had been tossing around the idea of what to do with her money from her Trust fund the closer she got to turning 21 this summer. Yes, Anna is one of those girls. Comes from money and has a Trust, but she was rather proud of having never pulled strings to get what she had now. Her corporate job, her car, her apartment, the collage she had attended.

Anyways, it wasn't till after Matt had proposed to her last year at Christmas when they had gone to her parents place for the Holiday, that she got the idea of taking a trip around Europe a month before their wedding this coming Fall. A sort of pre-honeymoon vacation to end the summer. Though she was certainly happy enough to take their planned Hawaii honeymoon, which was to be followed up by a Jamaican Cruise. Guess that's all out the window now. She thought, staring with such hurt and betrayal at Matt through that almost fogged car window.

Shaking her head as her eyes watered, Anna turned and stormed back to her car. Taking the ring from her finger and throwing it to the ground in her hurt. She slammed the driver side door behind her and locked it as she started it up. The engine a sweet revving purr to her ears. Just go. Just go home before you do something you'll regret...like break a window or key his car or...or something! Her rational mind screamed, begging. She didn't need the extra trouble. No matter how much he would have deserved it. So she backed the car out, biting down her emotions for the sake of a safe drive back home, and sped off.

Matt got his pants zipped and made it out the car door just in time to watch Anna speed off.

"Fuck!" he screamed as Sarah got out of the car to join him. "I've got to go." Matt said walking into his apartment while dialing Anna.

When Anna didn't pick up he began frantically texting her with apologies and pleading for her to call him back. By midnight his desperation turned into anger as he lifted his phone one more time before going to bed.

"Fine, be a bitch if you want to but at least Sarah's not a prude and knows how to fuck!" He knew he should have deleted it but let his anger get the best of him as he hit send then tossed his phone on the nightstand.

Anna was in tears the moment she walked through the doors of her apartment. When her doorman had asked if she was okay, she merely muttered that no she wasn't okay and she didn't want to see ANYONE. She had stressed the word just before the elevator doors opened and she stepped in. Her phone had been going off since the moment she had driven off. At the first red light she had, she had fished her phone out. Declining his call, and turned her phone off. Tossing it onto her passenger seat as she hit the steering wheel a few times. Releasing a bit of her emotions.

Now that she was home, she turned her phone back on. Seeing all the missed calls and texts. She ignored them. She put her phone on silence and set it to only go off with her alarm tomorrow morning. For now, as the night dragged on, she drained a whole bottle of wine and half another bottle before she finally fell asleep. Instead of more pleas the next morning, Anna woke to a rather hateful text message. "Fuck you, Matt..." She murmured, blocking him as she got up. The first thing she did before jumping into her shower was call for her doorman. With arrangements made, she laid out her clothes for the morning of travel on her bed and hopped into the shower.

Her doorman, Jack, was a very kind gentlemen and viewed Anna as a second daughter. He and his wife, Marie, would have Anna over to dinner most weekends. Hating to see the beautiful young woman eating alone when she wasn't bringing work home with her. Jack didn't know what had upset her the day before but he had hated to see her so upset and he knew today was the day she planned to head out on her vacation. So when she had called him to ask if he would order her a taxi in the next hour or so, he gladly obliged. He even offered to come up there and bring the bags down for her. And despite her protests, she eventually relented. So off Jack went. He could hear her in the shower as he had his extra help grab her bags and get them to the lobby while he got some coffee brewing for her. Hoping to save her sometime. Grabbing the last bag, he closed and locked her door behind him and went about his job. He'd keep her bags near him until she came down and would be sure to help her load them into the taxi.

Jack woke up at 6:00 am to get a workout in before he had to head to the airport. It was his 4th trip to London in the last 2 months. He used to enjoy the idea of international travel for work but it was starting to grind on him. At least his rewards status was climbing with each trip. On his last flight back there ended up being a seat open in first class and the flight attendants came to get him and allowed him to sit there. The extra space and free drinks made the trip back so much better.

By 11:00 he was packed and in a cab heading for the airport.

Anna was happy to see that her coffee was brewed and ready for her when she climbed out of the shower. Pouring herself a cup, fixing it with some sugar and the last of her creamer, she doubled checked her list of instructions for her sister, Marissa, who was coming to house sit for her. Jack had his instructions to keep an eye on her and anyone her flighty sister may try and bring back. After downing her coffee and getting dressed, she double checked her carry on (making sure she had her cell, a charger, her wallet, a book to read, her headphones, ect...) Satisfied that she had everything, she headed out and locked up behind her.

After loading up the taxi, Anna double checked with her doorman to be sure he had the copy of the key for himself and one to give to Marissa. Reassured that her place was in good hands and would be in perfect order upon her return, Anna got in and was on her way to the airport. The whole drive there, Anna made a call to cancel Matt's ticket and either be refunded or upgraded. Either worked for her. Luck must have been on her side, or compensating after her awful night, as her ticket was upgraded to first class for the first flight out to London.

When she arrived at the airport, she thanked her driver and tipped him for helping her with her bags. Thankfully the lines at check in hadn't gotten dreadfully long yet and the process went smoothly. Her bags got checked in, she was handed her ticket, and was directed towards the TSO. Another steadily growing line she made her way through with patience. And with all the grace of the business woman she was, she sped walk through the airport to her gate. Her heart slightly racing with the anticipation and adrenaline of really going through with this.

Once she was at her gate, Anna did a brief scan of the waiting crowd, people watching for a moment. A few business men (maybe one or three had come with someone who was obviously their assistant/mistress) and some families. A few couples. Maybe a few collage kids. But there was one business man, at least he looked like one, who sat apart from the rest of the crowd. Anna looked him over. He was handsome and physically appealing. As she walked over to quietly sit a few seats away, pulling her book out, she looked from the corner of her eyes at him again before turning her attention to her book.

Jack looked up from his phone as he noticed someone sit a few seats away from him as he waited at the gate. She was a stunning brunette. He allowed his eyes to drift down her toned legs before returning them to his phone. "Please let her be in the next seat." he thought to himself though he knew he'd never had that kind of luck on long flights. It was almost always some overweight salesman who wanted to talk his ear off the entire way until he drank himself unconscious.

"Jack Martin, please see the ticketing agent." he heard announced over the PA system. He looked up to see the ticketing agent he'd spoken to when he arrived scanning the crowd.

"Excuse me." he said turning to the brunette who'd just arrived. "Could I trouble you to keep an eye on my bag for just a second? They're calling me." As she looked up at him he found himself gazing into some of the most beautiful eyes he'd seen. She gave him a smile and a nod before returning her attention to her book.

As he approached the counter he couldn't stop thinking about those eyes. "Just incredible" he thought.

"Mister Martin, we were able to upgrade you. Here's your new boarding pass." the agent said as he made it to the counter. "Wonderful you just made my day" he replied as he took it and flashed the woman a big smile adding "Dinner is on me when I get back!"

The agent laughed and shot back. "I'm a married woman sir!"

"Damn, there goes that day you just made." he replied with a laugh before returning to his seat smiling the whole way.

As he returned he thanked his stunning neighbor for watching his bag before reaching out a hand. "I'm Jack, nice to meet you."

Anna looked up at his voice as he flagged her. She had heard the PA system call his name and almost wanted to laugh at the irony of meeting someone who shared a name with her doorman. Still though, she give him a charming smile as she met his gaze and nodded her head at him. "Of course. It's no problem." She said and watched him get up. Heading over to the flight attendant. Anna moved seats to sit closer to his bag so anyone walking by would make the assumption it was hers. And just be sure, she even laid a hand on it. Her book in her lap as she read.

When he got back, she removed her hand from his bag and marked her place in her book before closing it as she looked back up at him. Sliding her hand into his, giving it a firm grip as she shook it. Her profession had made her learn quickly how to give these sorts of handshakes that more less said she could play with the big boys too. And her work showed that in certain field she was even better than them. More efficient even. "Nice to meet you Jack. I'm Anna Mallory."

Jack hadn't really noticed she'd moved a seat over until he sat with has bag at his feet as he'd left it. Jack had strained to see the title of the book she was reading to see if that was a potential topic of conversation but wasn't able to see it and he wasn't a fan of people asking him what he was reading so he decided against that. "London I'm assuming." he continued trying to maintain Anna's engagement "Going for business?" He'd assumed she was, like him, traveling for business since she was alone. People don't typically travel oversees by themselves he reasoned.

In his mind he was trying to figure out what she did. She kind of carried herself like many of his colleagues in banking or finance but it was tough to gage with what little he had to go on. Perhaps he was hoping for that miracle where she was going to work on the same merger he was working and their paths would cross again.

"Uh, vacation actually." She told him, putting her book back into her carry on as she turned in her seat to face him. She could guess that he was on business. A shame, she thought. She would have liked to cross paths with him again. But perhaps I'll get lucky and he'll be in first class with me. "I'm taking a trip through Europe. Starting from London and ending in Portugal."

Jack was a little surprised when she said vacation but he guessed she could be meeting up with others there. Thinking about it, he’d been on plenty of guys trips where he met everyone there.

“That sounds amazing!” He said “I’ve been to London a lot the last few months but it’s always been on business so all I’ve really seen is my hotel and the inside of a conference room. Turns out they look the same as in the states. Girls trip?” He asked fishing to find out if she was meeting a significant other there.

Anna laughed at his statement about the hotels and conference rooms all looking the same as they do here in the states. "I know. I can't tell you how many times I've stressed to my assistant to make reservations at a restaurant instead of going through that!" She giggles. Shaking her head. "And no, not a girls trip. Just me." Anna said, shrugging her shoulders. "I uh...I had a partner who was suppose to go with me but...well he decided his neighbor was apparently much prettier to be spending time with instead of packing." She scoffed, making a displeased face at the mention of her ex.

“Wow, that’s rough, I’m sorry to hear that.” He started, about to go on about how much of an idiot he must be when they announced First Class boarding was starting. As they did he noticed her head turn toward the gate. “That’s me.” He said at the exact time she did. They laughed a little then got up to walk toward the gate.

Jack allowed Anna to go first to be a “gantleman” but in reality he just wanted to check out her ass as she walked. He suspected, based on her legs, that it would be fantastic and he wasn’t disappointed.

The scanned their boarding passes and as they walked down the jetway he continued his thought from earlier.

“I can’t believe any sane person would make the choice he did by the way. I’m impressed that you’re going it alone. I’m sure you’ll have a good time regardless.” As he finished they were greeted by the flight attendant which didn’t give Anna a chance to respond at the time. She looked at their boarding passes “Oh you’re together is see. You’re in the last row.” She said causing Jack to look at Anna and smile.

“After you” He said as the flight attendant led them to their seats.

"Yeah well..." She trailed off. Not really knowing what to say and not wanting to admit that she apparently wasn't skilled enough at sex to keep a man. So she shrugged. "It happened." She murmured, almost jumping when the attendants voice came over the PA asking for the First Class to line up. She wasn't sure why, but it pleased her to hear they were both going to be in First Class. Anna giggled at his gentleman like behavior. Letting her go first. Cutely biting her bottom lip and brushing her hair behind her ears as she walked ahead of him. She didn't get the chance to respond to him saying that not only was he impressed she was going on this trip alone, but that Matt was idiot for making the choice he had. Because at that moment, they had reached the end of the tunnel and were met by the flight attendant. Again, he let her go first.

Following the attendant to their seats. "Thank you." She carefully side stepped the attendant and slipped into the window seat so Jack could put his bag in the overhead if needed. Otherwise she was happy to take the outer seat if need be. She was just happy getting to sit next to him. And was, admittedly happy, to be in first class rather than coach. "Uhm, did you...want window, Jack?" She asks, motioning to the seat behind her.

Jack took a second to think about it. Honestly he didn’t care either way and he was going to turn it back to Anne to choose but then it occurred to him that her having to squeeze by him to get out wouldn’t be the worst thing that happened to him all week. “The isle is fine unless you’d like it.”

Anna gave it some thought and decided, if she had to brush past him every time she got up...it wouldn't be such a bad thing. Would it? "I'll take the window. Since you've seen the sights and all." She teases, laughing and taking her seat. Putting her carry on under the seat in front of her as she placed her phone and her headphones into her lap for later.

Jack had been in this situation before on flights and didn’t make a move and he always kicked himself for days afterwards when it happened.

There was a certain risk to what he was contemplating. On an 8 hour flight it’s not ideal to make it awkward early but it’s not like he hadn’t sat silently and didn’t talk to his seat mate before so he decided to go for it early.

He mustered his nerve and turned to Anna “I have a proposal for you. If you can still stand me after an 8 hour flight would you like to grab dinner tomorrow night? I’d love to help you celebrate the start of your vacation.”

Anna was a little surprised at the sudden offer for a dinner date but with a handsome guy like him, she knew there was a pretty goo chance she'd either go back to his hotel or him to hers. Or maybe she was just being overly hopeful. "I'd like that, Jack. I've never been to London before so my first over seas dining experience is in your capable hands!" She teases, leaning back in her seat. Still looking at him though.

“Perfect, now all I have to do is make it through the next 8 hours without blowing it. No pressure.” He said with a laugh. At least now he’d established that there was mutual interest and he didn’t have to wonder about it the rest of the flight. He thought.

He glanced up and saw the flight attendant working her way down the isle taking drink orders. Jack loved that they served you before takeoff in first class.

Turning back to Anna “You already agreed to go out with me so I’m not sure why I’m asking but can I buy you a drink?” He said with another laugh before motioning to the flight attendant who’d just arrived at their seats.

“I’ll have whatever red wine you have and…..”. He trailed off as he looked back over to Anna.

Anna smiled politely at the attendant, chuckling a little from Jack. "A rosé for me, please." Crossing her legs as she shifted to be able to better face him, Anna settled her phone and headphones in her seat for now, though she was likely to put it back into her bag if the conversation kept up. "Maybe this trip will get to be spiced up for you, Jack. It's certainly off to a great start for me."

Jack’s eyes traveled down to her legs as she crossed them. Her body language was sending a clear message to him and he couldn’t imagine she hadn’t picked up on his interest at this point.

“It doesn’t take a lot to spice up one of my trips but I like the sound of that a lot.” As he finished he reached over placing his hand just above her knee and gave it a light squeeze letting his hand rest there for a few extra beats before withdrawing it as the flight attendant returned with their wine.

He handed Anna’s to her then raised his glass “To spicing things up.”

Anna watches his hand and felt her heart jump as it came to rest on her knee. She bit her bottom lip lightly and was just feeling daring enough to teasingly open her legs the tiniest bit when the attendant returned. Sitting up straight as she cleared her throat, she moved a few strands of hair from her face, mentally reminding herself to fix her ponytail later, and raised her glass to lightly clink against his as she smiled. "To spicing things up." And as she sipped her drink, Anna was determined to do just that this whole trip. Spice things up and do things she normally wouldn't.

The conversation continued as the plane ascended to cruising altitude and the flight attendant came by offering refills on their wine. The time passed quickly as they chatted and the sun set behind them. As meals were brought out the conversation stalled as they ate and more refills were offered.

Once the meals were collected the flight crew dimmed the cabin lights to let the passengers get some sleep before their morning arrival in London. Jack apologized to Anna as he pulled his laptop from under the seat in front of him. "I've got to get a few things finished up before I get some sleep. Sorry for being rude."

Anna had enjoyed her flight so far. She had gotten up a few times, brushing herself against him whenever she did. Excusing herself to the bathroom if only to have a reason to stretch her legs when they started cramping. But otherwise, things were pleasant. Their conversation was nice and he had her laughing quiet a bit as they discussed awkward moments in various meetings or things that would go through their heads in a dull meeting. It was pretty funny to hear the various scenarios they came up that would have made those particular moments better.

The evening came, food and refills were served and eventually it grew late. She heard Jack curse softly as he noticed the time and began to pull his laptop out to get some stuff done. Anna waved it off. "Hey, don't sweat it. I get it. I should get some sleep anyways. I mean, it wont be as comfortable as that hotel bed but at least I wont be dragging!" She laughs, fishing her phone back out with her headphones from her bag along with its charger. She got her phone plugged in and put one of her headphones in her ear. Turning on some Score music from movies and games and covers done by Lindsey Stirling, Piano Guys, ect. Anna made herself comfortable, took her hair down, and between the sound of the keys clacking on his laptop and her music, Anna nodded off. Head against her arm at the window.

Jack had noticed Anna fall asleep as he worked on adjusting the revenue models he had to present the next day. As she leaned against the window comfortably her leg drifted over and brushed against his. He enjoyed the sensation of the physical contact even if it was unintentional. After he finished he closed his laptop and set it on his lap as he closed the tray table in front of him.

Reaching beneath the seat in front of him he tried to pull has laptop case from under the seat without accidentally nudging her awake. He failed though, as his leg pressed into hers Anna began to stir. "Sorry" he said as he placed his hand on her thigh like he'd done a few times before. Only this time he left it there as he pushed his bag under the seat and set back.
