A different kind of ''loving wife '' story

I'm aware that most cuckold stories posted under the '' loving wives'' section on Literotica, tend to garner less than positive reviews. The main reason why such distaste and revulsion is aroused among most readers seems to stem from the fact that they are unable to relate to and sympathise with female protagonists who come across as being utterly selfish individuals. With this in mind, I propose a plot idea that features a more sympathetic female heroine who might have greater appeal for most readers.

The scenario that I have in mind features a young married couple from China who have entered the States as illegals. The husband wants to start his own business but lacks the funds and capital to do so. In order to secure the necessary funds that he requires, he decides to offer the sexual services of his unwilling and reluctant wife to an elderly but relatively wealthy American businessman. This is carried out on the condition that the latter provides him with some rather considerable financial assistance. Eventually, the young Chinese wife becomes pregnant with her American lover's child and leaves her husband in order to be with him. Although she gradually becomes genuinely fond of her American lover, her reasons for deciding to be with him are somewhat pragmatic. She is firstly motivated by an overriding loathing for her greedy and conniving husband who has treated her like a disposable commodity and shown such flagrant contempt for the sanctity of their marriage. Secondly, she is also aware that if she marries her American lover, she can secure a better future for her child as well obtain American citizenship for herself.

So, to come to the point, is this the sort of story that anyone might be interested in helping me to write? And what do you think of the young wife herself? Is she a tad more likable than your typical adulterous spouse? Would love to hear your feedback.

That is a rather convoluted backstory to support a simple theme. I don't see it working unless you are a much better writer than most.

There Is a common reason why LW stories draw so much ire:

1. There are Lots of sexually frustrated married men who have little to no sex with their wives. They already have a lot of pent up hostility, and LW stories sooner or later start the thought train of "bitch can't be bothered to give me a little nookie occasionally even though I work like a damn slave to support her ass, but she talks about how she'd bend over like this for those queers on TV"

Funny enough the category is called Loving Wives. I read several stories hoping to find hot married sex stories. Instead it's almost exclusively cheating wife stories.

GorgeousGeekGirl,

The best loving wives story of the 'hot married sex' variant you describe (and the only variant I actually enjoy) is the most excellent series 'The EMT' by Absolute Rotter.

It has a touch of cuckoldry (ok, maybe more than a touch), but it is nevertheless the best out there that I have found. Wonderful writing, to boot.

The other great one (in my humble opinion) is the very different Executive Privilege series by Keat.

Both involve wives submitting to colleagues and employers to assist their husband's careers, but the tone of each is quite different.

I hope you enjoy the read, and it might assist you, tapeworm, with ideas on how to plot out and block your story, should you try to write it.

Happy reading!

Yes, this is the reason, right here. I'm not going to speculate about the commenters' home lives or whether or not they're even married, but a great deal of the flak is pretty clearly steeped in a sense of anger and resentment that's being projected onto the fiction. Some of it so serious that it edges into misogynist Reddit-style rage. I don't think any plot can work its way around that.

Oddly enough, I've always found people very receptive when I post a story to LW, but I rarely get to.

loving slutty wives

I have posted many stories in LW and usually do get a caustic response, at least at first. A lot of the nasty comments are directed at the fact that the female character is "selfish".

Personally I think it is trite and superficial to expect all stories to wrap up with a Disney style "good" people winning and "bad" ones getting their comeuppance. But I don't really think that selfishness is the issue anyways. The same people who write me nasty comments seem to have no problem with one or more selfish arrogant assholes imposing their will on a vulnerable woman.

I think the problem most of the nasty commentators have isn't the woman's sexual activity but the fact that she isn't being submissive or feeling shame for it. In most of my stories the woman is not cheating or abusing her husband - she is above board about her promiscuity and in control of her sexuality. That really scares people because it threatens their carefully constructed delusions about female sexuality and men's need to believe that they are ultimately in control.

The story line you are suggesting plays directly to that weakness by capitulating to the need to see women as victims or stupid or devious.....but never in control of her own sexuality.

Any time you write with the intent of being popular or getting high scores you dilute any originality or creativity in favour of social acceptance. And the writing becomes just one more banal story that is deliberately mediocre to appeal to the masses. Write that story if it appeals to you, but not to satisfy the trolls in LW.

Exactly right. Write the story YOU would want to read. Who the hell cares what angry men posting anonymously will think.

Wow. I think you hit that right on the head.
Well said.

Exactly right. I only have a few LW stories posted. Most (unsurprisingly) got a lot of hate and low vote scores. Big deal. One has a Red H. In it, the cheated are innocent and the cheaters are killed by divine intervention. See, blameless BTB! A commonality of my LW stories: they get tens of thousands of views. They are READ. And they provoke people. I get ten times as many comments as my stories in other categories. LW is great for authors wanting eyeballs and feedback.

My LW entries: A Matter of Time -- I Can't Hear You -- Prickly Pairs (Red H) -- Story of My Fucking Life -- Substitute Pussy -- Under His Eyes -- Still Under His Eyes -- read'em and weep.

This.
They are still gonna hate it, due to the fact they must revel in their own pain, and anger, only reading to burn the flame hotter. Maybe not so much if he showed up with a ring sword and killed her for her transgressions. I've thought about putting a story there, just to piss them off, maybe I can piss them off so much, they'll love it. Kinda like going so deeply insane, one goes sane again from the boredom of insanity.

equality

In an odd way this is where the rubber hits the road in terms of equality and freedom of choice. Lots of people talk a big game about how much they support women but her sexuality goes to a deep visceral and emotional level. And at that level a lot of people (male and female) still feel the need to control women or punish them for making the "wrong" choice.

That urge is even stronger when men contemplate a wife. But that isn't all there is to it. Many simply cannot wrap their heads around consensual activity that falls outside a set of existing norms and feel the need to impose their view on others. They are hardwired to believe that any sexually promiscuous woman (married or otherwise) is evil and soiled and must be punished - a standard and suppression of free choice obviously not equal to that which is applied to men.

To my mind this is the same type of mindset that thinks we should oppress and outlaw anyone who is LGBT. But in a way it is much more pervasive. Even places like the U.S. and Canada that accept and have provided legislative protection to members of the LGBT community still don't accept women's choice.

I read a heart breaking article the other day about a woman who went through all kinds of trouble with her husband because he couldn't accept her pre-marital sexual activity. It was all before they met and she was a faithful, devoted and loving wife. Yet the article talked all about how she had made the mistake of soiling herself for her perfect wonderful man without the slightest acknowledgement that he was being a narrow-minded douche bag. And this was a mainstream publication, not some right wing christian conservative propaganda.
