A deterent to dumb lawsuits . . . maybe?

What if there was a legal legislation that the people who file these stupid lawsuits of slave repartations, crimainals getting injured at the hands of their victims, car owners suing a car company cause thier son who had his license for two days drove 50MPH over the speed limit got killed in that comapnies car, et al else like manner law suits, had to end up paying the legal fees both sides of the case when they lost.

Sort of a Stupidity tax so to speak.

Do you think that this would deter dumb lawsuits?

Nope. Those lawsuits are rarely lost by the people who file them. The companies are so scared of bad press that an actual court case would bring that they settle out of court for tons of money whether there's a legitimate claim or not. People count on that.
