Wake up in the middle of the night in pain.

Peripheral neuropathy.

Excruciating stabbing sensation in my legs and feet. Get up and take some drugs. Norco.

After about an hour the pain begins to subside. Sleepiness follows, but amazingly this drug seems to wire me. It's great for the pain, but doesn't help with sleeping.

What else does it do? It causes awful constipation.

Dulcolax to the rescue. I just started taking this. Amazing what one little pill can do. It causes quite the eruption.

So, to recap: In pain, can't sleep, full of shit.

That's been my life this week.

How is everyone else?

Will you tell us sometime about how you came to suffer so?

Have you tried colace? It is much gentler on your bowels and will save you from the eruptions. You should take one or two a day.

The Ginger had Phentyl patches and Crohns, I'm getting pretty good and understanding pain meds and fucked up digestive systems.

I'm sorry you have to deal with that, Gimp.

Can't they give you the shots?

Benedryl helps me sleep when I need to, very sorry about your pain. I don't know about prescription drugs but drinking a lot more water and taking long baths with epson salts will help with your bathroom problems.

norco is acetaminophen / hydrocodone. the opiate part stops you up. the acetaminophen is not great for your liver.

lidocaine patches may work better for you, depending on where the pain is. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11014393

I love them, they are all I used when I broke my leg.
