A Companion thread...

I personally agree. However, there have been cases (involving me) where I met a woman online and we hit it off really well. She sends me a picture of her and I send her mine. MOST of the times I've chatted online with women who've exchanged pictures with me stop talking to me, put me on their ignore lists (if they have it). You also have to be careful with photo exchanges, especially online because you never know if it's a guy pretending to be a woman, or the woman/guy has very low self-esteem that they send you fake photos.

I'm just glad that there are a few women that I do meet who aren't like that. We mostly end up just friends I guess because of the long distance thing or something, which is good because then I could work on my social skills with women, somewhat.

I try to be as honest as possible about my looks if I don't have a picture up. Most people think I look like a great guy when they read the description I give them, but I always know they're assuming wrong. I have gotten over my looks. I know I have a lot of other great qualities about myself that make me a great person to be with, but if nobody sees that, then it's their problem, not mine.

And that is the one reason that I if I send a picture at all it is not immediately into the starting of a new relationship. Because in my way of thinking any time someone interacts with someone else it is a relationship of sorts.

Personally, I think a lot of people claim they don't "judge a book by its cover", when in fact, they're lying. It reminds me of that story I read about in Psychology where these people who say they're not racists (possibly something else, like homophobes) took this word association test and it turns out they were really the opposite of what they claimed to be.

It's all psychological and how we're raised, view life, etc. It's even hormones that determine it as well.

Oh my...what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive.

A truer statement has never been made.

Mudslides make me smile. And a little bit drunk. Maybe I shouldn't have had all that to drink.

I am watching the Original Latin Kings of Comedy on Comedy Central tonight.

So I am getting my fair share of the laughs this evening.

What are you doing tonight or what did you do today to have a good laugh?

Sometimes I wonder why people can't take a hint. Why they can't just leave "sleeping dogs lie" so to speak.

Hmm... there was this Capital One commercial w/ Dennis on it that was rather hilarious. That was my only source of "real laughter".

I drink Bailey's straight from the bottle. However, my step-dad's been drinking it, but I cannot complain because I've drank his beer, liquor, etc.

I also just found out that I like my liquor warm. And if I drink beer, it has to be really cold and in a bottle, otherwise I hate it.

If by "we", you mean society in general, then yes, society "weaves a web of lies." Since I think too much, I am trying to cut down on that, and by cutting down on anything that causes me to think too much, I need to stop reading between the lines about everything. I surely need to focus more on myself and to make myself happy, otherwise I'll just think too much about the morally wrong of society and the things that come to make me hate it in general.

I believe I am a madman, therefore I rant and rave like a madman.

Good evening ohioman.

Hybrid, I don't believe that you are a madman. I think that one can overy analysis a situation and that one can read between the lines to much. Some times one has to not worry about everyone else and do what makes one's own self happy.

I like Bailey's too, in hot chocolate with whipped cream on top.

If I could, I wonder if Bailey's would taste great licked off your body?

Hmm... however, I do have to try the hot chocolate approach.

Alas, I do think I am a madman. Too many thoughts, emotional and spite, course through my mind. Mixed emotion rattles me up like a pinball machine.

I don't know. Perhaps that's the side effects for having the ability to write well.

Um...wonder if that donut shop has canoli's? If so, wonder if they are any good?

Oh sweets......

Going to be warm and sticky here today. If you have to be out and about, please remember to take some water with you. None of us are used to this heat and humidity after the winter we've had.

One more rambling thought here and then I am going to lay back down for a little while.

I don't smile over other people's misfortune. But this one time I can honestly say that I am smiling over something that has happened to someone else. They are getting no less than they deserve and their chickens are coming home to roost, so to speak. Some things that they have done has now come back and bit them in the ass. And I, for one, am glad to see it going on.

Morning, MM!
Have a good sleep. Being bit in the ass has different connotations depending on your point of view, and who's doing the biting..... lol

Good afternoon Lance and it was a very good sleep.

I don't think this was a good bite in the ass.

Okay to someone else, I miss having you to talk to in the morning, while I am having my coffee. I hope you get home safe and sound, and I am looking forward to talking with you in the morning.

Since I can't use the blurt thread anymore without someone on the board taking everything that I post as a personal post about them, I am going to do my blurting here.

*Damn, well just damn. I have never seen anything so silly as what you are making yourself look. Don't you realize that the minute that you stooped to his level your respect factor in alot of other people's eyes went to hell in a handbasket? Or are you that blinded and/or motivated by having to have the last word? I thought that the two of you were suppose to be adults?*

hello all

I hope everyone is doing well. I know that I am doing my best. But at least the weather is nice.

Hello Star and good to hear from you. Glad that you are doing well and I bet that you are glad that the weather has changed.
