A challenging idea????

I was thinking last night of an idea that I don't think has ever been done but would be a challenge for the best of writers! As in a duet performed musically, (or lyrically I should say), write your story, bouncing back and forth from the eyes of both male and female perspectives. In other words describe, through separate paragraghs, what the male sees, acts, and feels; and what the female sees, acts, and feels. It would almost be like a third party script!

(i.e.) "I watched his eyes roam freely up the length of my bare legs, over my flat stomach, to the curve of my breasts. The light of the candle and its shadows emphasized the chiseled detail of his beautiful body. I knew he was excited by the throbbing movement I witnessed under the satin sheets".

"I saw her standing there in the doorway. Her scantilly clad body captivated my every thought. I envied the reflections from the candles dancing light as it caressed her bare skin. I felt my cock harden and throb from the vision before me".

The challenge of course would be to allow the story to flow smoothly. The greater challenge would be to attempt to write from the feelings of the opposite sex! I think it would be fun and exciting to see what we could come up with.

Hi Jason,

I thought it would be a neat idea. Almost like writing a script, but in this story you write through the eyes of both individuals, male and female. You write play by play what each is seeing and feeling. The format would be paragragh by paragragh. As for the plot, it can be anything you want. All of us have written our stories from OUR eyes. I, being a female, have written all my stories as just that, a female. Now for me to write as a male in the story as well as the female, well that is a whole new world to me LOL. It will be interesting how that "other gender" perception will look written out! I have never seen the role playing section as mentioned above, but imagine that each person plays one role. I want the individual writer to play two roles, male and female, all within the same story!

Slight variation on your concept....

Here's a thought, I think it would be really fun.

I, being male (okay, confession time over), have written much like you. First person, in the part of the male.

This story that you are suggesting would be first person, but moving back and forth, a paragraph at a time, from male to female, then back.

Now here's MY challenge, LilBrandi. You write the male part, I'll write the female part. Now let's up the odds. I'll pick the setting, you pick the characters and the action to take place.

I'll work on the original idea with your approval. This little tidbit is sort of a double-dare back at ya!

I'm up to the challenge. Are you? hee hee hee....

I'm writing a story about two twins meeting via the internet and I bounce back and forth between the two. It is a challange fer sure but fun!

Well, have you gone yet? Also, look for a story called A Romp In The 100 Acre Woods. It was written by both Poohlive and myself. We basically wrote a few paragraphs then passed if off to the other one who wrote a few...and Voila! A story was born.
