In a episode of The Simpsons, Homer uncovers and then helps stop a plan to move the Springfield baseball team - The Springfield Isotopes - to Albuquerque New Mexico.

This past summer the Calgary Cannons Triple A ball team was sold and played their last season in "Burns Stadium" .. where are they going you may ask?

To play in Albuquerque and be known as the Isotopes.

*sniff* Ah well.. You tried and that is more than appreciated!

E-Bay does sell the jerseys, but I'd rather not fork out 20 bucks for one... I would if that's what it took to finish my collection though. Looks like I can get Edmonton and Montreal no problem though so it's all good

D'oh!

For a while it was a major "D'oh!!"

I'm not a huge baseball fanatic like I am hockey, but I do like to go to as many games as I can. Of course Calgary was leaving and I knew that, but then a month later the Medicine Hat Blue Jays of the pioneer leauge move!!

D'OH!!!!

Turns out there is a new Canadian Baseball Leauge forming and Calgary is one of the franchise cities, so I'll still get my semi-pro baseball fix.
