Actually lived in Beachwood, & then a few other places close by. But Used to go to buddy's grandmas house in point pleasant, VERY often. Ever watch the Benihanna offshore boat race??
& I always liked that boardwalk better than seaside's.
& Angel & Hong its funny about the benny's, cause if you werent from that Point pleasant to Island beach area, & close inland, they didnt know what a benny was. " a vacationer, usually from the city, & driving mostly monte carlo ss's(black) or camaro's. & doing the blanket to blanket thing all up & down the beach." Traffic is nearly unbearable anywere near a main drag to the shore. I used to cook at a denny's at the corner of Rt. 37 & hooper ave. Ever ate there Angel??? Used to watch traffic start piling around 4 am.,,& get busy. 37 brings you to seaside.
Hong thats a beautiful area, up there. I had drove to many different work sites all over jersey, but while in the Gaurd had to go to morristown on a few occasions. Do you know were that armoury is?? It was the main unit we were part of.
Its sad because most people not from jersey only think of it as refinery's oil tanks & loading docks,(& chemical plants). Thats only some of the shore areas. City areas. They dont even know jersey has some what of mountains. Or the farm/cornfeilds.
