Very nice work JD. Seamless writing that made the three Lit pages whip by quickly. It would be hard to say I enjoyed the story because of the pain woven through it, but I was entranced. Way above what is normally found here.

Thank you for taking time to read my story, and for your generous comments.

Perhaps it was the fact that I was trying to capture some of the pain of my time in prison... or to write some decent prose... or to write about the woman that I love... but I gotta say this: Writing a poem is a hell of a lot easier, and a lot less frightening!

It kind of makes me revisit the old caveat... beware the poet who dabbles in prose!

There are several of us here who "cross train". Lauren and Liar immediately pop to mind, both of them quite good. I will read it, but not tonight. I'll give you some feedback in a couple of days.
