A Baseball Analogy

Thought of this after reading a few threads on the AH the other evening:

I sometimes think of my writing for the site as if I am pitching during batting practice. My stories are in the "slow pitch" sections of I/T, Anal, EC and a couple of Romances. The reader lets me know, "Hey, can you give me a daddy/daughter story?" and I try to deliver one of those.

It's like I'm lobbing a pitch to a particular part of the plate, and then I see if I've hit the spot they wanted.

Then I look over and see Hypoxia in LW, chucking a fastball at someone's head, and I think, "Man, it's like we're not even playing the same game!"

I've written very few in LW. But they deserved it. Except one I wanted in LW but it went to NonCon.
