A big Thank You to all who took time to comment on poetry and do reviews. I would name each person but so many of you helped out in 2004.

And thank you Lauren and Angeline for moderating this rowdy place. You know how wild poets get.

And another thank you to everyone else for participating on the poetry forum and keeping things extremely interesting.

By the way, no need to thank me for being a drama queen and providing comic and pornographic relief. It was my (oh yes, baby. oh yes!) pleasure.

You be nice to my beloved Evie or I'll come under that bridge and give you a thrashing you won't soon forget. I can, too. I'm pretty mean underneath this halo. Just ask Lauren.

Hey, you heard Angeline. She's connected with the poetry mob.

I'm glad you finally showed up, Trolly. Maybe you'll get to know us a little better and even share some of your poetry--if you write poetry.

I invited Trolly. I take in homeless kittens and drunkards. I pass out candy to tough guys named Bruno, and I invited Trollys to the board. You know I'm a little odd, Ange.

I have nothing against Trolly. I actually think she has proven herself to be rather cool in her comments (just not the ones on the poems, lol). I just um get a little defensive when it comes to my friends.

I'm originally a city girl you know. I'm tougher than people think. I can tawk like this and say fugeddaboudit and stuff that sounds like the Sopranos.

And your willingness to take in misfits explains our friendship. :D

So, this poetry mob -- Might I assume a mob mentality? All reacting in the same senseless direction?

"The sky is falling! The sky is falling!"

I loved it. I gave it a five because of the the metaphorical
symbology and all that other crapola...."

Speaking of poetry, I have always liked the one that starts:

"There once was a man from Nantucket...."

I'm getting my trollys confused. Was that the name of the chick that was here last week or the week before? I thought this was the new trolly who started commenting on my poems recently and I told "him" to stop by the board. Damn. Who am I talking to?!

Aha! I found it. I knew I wasn't a cracked nut!
It was Tongue Lasher. This Trolly is a new Trolly and supposedly male, which is good. I need fresh meat... I mean we need fresh poets on the board. That's what I mean.

Damn! And I thought I knew myself. Here I am, decades old (your guess how many) and I am just now finding out that I am a female? Damn! And all those lonely nights when I was by myself and only imagined I had something in my hand, and I apparently instead had my hand in something. Damn! What a wakeup. Oh, well....

I guess I need to change my profile to reflect my feminine side. I hope I don't get in trouble going into the Ladies inside this presnet body of mine. If so, can I call on you, Angeline, to bail me out?

I tend not to follow the crowd. If you think that about me, you're barking up the wrong tree. I subscribe more to the Groucho Marx school of thought: i.e., "I don't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member."

And I'm glad you like poetry. Your choice of form isn't much to my taste, but I'm not into judging people. It's a waste of time.

Sorry. I thought you were the other Trolly. The female one.

And I'm too poor to bail you out. Maybe the mob can take up a collection.

Umm... I was connecting you with that "we'll bust your knee caps with a sonnet" mob.

There is another troll???? A female troll???? You mean our species doesn't have to come to an end???? Cool. Maybe she and I can get together and make little trolls.

I hope she's not ugly. Not sure if I could propagate with an ugly troll. I bet she is ugly. I mean, by defination, trolls are ugly. All I have to do is look at myself in a mirror. Damn!

Oh well, Life goes on. Or not

Yeah I know. Maybe I'll write a kneecap-bustin sonnet tomorrow. The idea appeals to me, lol. But it's getting late, and I think I'll go have sweet dreams about brass knuckles.

:D
