...please don't make this a congratulatory thread. I truly appreciate the thought, SR, but I think that writing 1000 posts, in and of itself, is not a worthy achievement.

Hmmm, forgetunome and Ezzy, not bad! Way better than the NOTHING my brain came up with. Honestly, if my brain didn't work most of the time to put my story "on paper" I'd have to consider replacing it.

I'd love to hear some more ideas.

Thank you, everyone so much for taking the time to think for me! No one looked stupid. All the ideas were very appreciated.

I forgot about the whole teacher thing! I like KM's thing about the school board. Something along the lines of teacher's pet/petting has some possiblities. Or...gotta brainstorm school things...pop quizzes, cramming (!), report cards, grades, grading on a curve, attendance, dismissal, apples, desks.

Gramma-tomically correct is funny, but because of the missing 'r' I keep thinking about my grandmother. That's sort of icky. But if I put the 'r' in, it reads differently.

What about a reference to a dick-tionary? Okay, lame.

I feel dense, but I don't get the Thigh Master suggestion. Am I known for my thighs? <winces>
