Brits on the board - go and see this movie! It's absolutely incredible. I don't like rap music particularly, but that didn't matter, if anything this film almost converted me, and I now at least appreciate it as I now appreciate Eminem, who I never had much time for before for no other reason than ignorance.

Always liked Curtis Hanson as a director, I was surprised at the subject matter he chose this time, but the finished picture vindicated that completely. Terrific. Hope Eminem's acting career takes off, as it deserves to.

I was dissapointed in it. It had some moments but from all the hype I was expecting a lot more.

I heard the rap scenes are good buy the script sucked and M&M couldn't act to save his life.

Franky, I don't give a rat's ass about M&M.

I like the blue ones!:D

Oh jeez. Em's acting was top notch. Of course he didn't have to change much. VERY excellent movie. You people who won't see it just because Em is in it are fuckin' dumb.

Yeah, as if you showed off your intellect in this thread.

Haven't seen it, but heard it was really good. Eminem doesn't bother me, because like white rappers before him, he will be forgotten in two years.

That's why he's already been mainstream for 4 years now, eh?

Yes. Because in every movie an actor is differnet.

That's like not listening to an album just because you didn't like the last one from that artist. Just like you should judge a band from album to album, and not as a genre, you should give every movie a chance.

I liked him better in Purple Rain.

(I tell that joke every time there's an 8 mile thread here, and every time it cracks me up.)

I missed it in the theatre, but I do plan on catching it once it gets to video tape.

Maybe "dumb" was the wrong word. However, it is VERY ignorant and very stereotypical.

Wrong......Why would I support someone who I think is a total putz?? I don't like Eminem, I don't like what he stands for....I don't like what he raps about.....I certainly would not support his album sales.....And I definately would not support his movie....
