Rule 6: Multi-chaptered stories are not eligible for the contest. Each submission needs to be completely original and completely independent. Stories can feature recurring characters, they can contain references to each other, but they must be entirely, unequivocally, standalone. They cannot be a continuation of a previous story line. The only exceptions allowed to this rule are: the Chain Stories category, which is multi-chaptered by definition; each author will only be entitled to one chapter eligible for Survivor per chain per contest year. the Novels and Novellas category, where submissions can either be standalone stories with 7500 words or more; or chapters of a larger work, as long as each chapter has 7500 words or more.

Rule 8: Each story or poem must be original work from the entrant for points to be awarded. Stories and poems that had already been posted at Literotica.com, as well as translated, illustrated, narrated, transcribed or templated versions of submissions already entered in the contest are not eligible for points.

How are any of the stories that you disqualified chapter stories when all of my stories can be read by themselves without having to reference any other story?

You even disqualified many of my stories stating thaty they are not original work? All my stories posted in 2009 are brand new written by me. How can you disqualify any of my stories under that rule?

Can you explain why my stories were disqualified as not being original work?

Let's discuss specifics here or do you not have any? Have you just disqualified my stories, the only writer with disqualifed stories because I wrote them?

Maybe if I were one of the favored writers here, I wouldn't have had any of my stories disqualified.

I challenge you to explain why any of my stories were disqualified. I demand specifics where I violated any rules.

Any submissions that obviously continue a previously established story arc or chain of events, or mimic a previously established story arc or chain of events by replicating significant parts of text from previous submissions, are, as a matter of fact, part of a series; as such, they are not eligible for points for Survivor. The tallying hasn't been completed yet, but this has affected several authors already.

Now we have a new rule that is different from Rule #6.

My stories are all stand alone stories. My stories are all new and original work written by me in 2009.

Prove to me where any of my stories are not original. Prove to me where any of my stories are not stand alone stories.

You just don't like me. That is the reason why my stories are rejected. It's a personal thing and has nothing to do with your rules or my stories.

Here we go again. Why can't you people have a fair contest. You did this to me last year by being all over me about chapter stories, so much so you made a rule. I abided by that rule this year and did not have any chapter stories, yet, arbitrarily, you've call some of my stories chapter stories because Laurel changed the name of the stories. These were not the titles that I submitted. Laurel changed the title names.

All of my work is original work. Explain how I have violated rule 8. Point it out to me so that I may refrute it.

Madam, you are using different language from what rule 6 states. Rule 6 reads nothing about mimicking previously estatblished stories nor does it state anything about replicating significant parts of text from previous submissions. Nor were my stories a series.

Secondly, I ask you again, why were some of my stories disqualified as not being original works, under rule #8?

I repeat, all of my stories are original and new and written by me. Please show me proof otherwise, or replace the scores for those stories.

Secondly, why were the titles of my submitted stories changed? I submitted my stories entitled with the name of the main character and they were changed by Laurel.

Some of your submissions contain templated versions of submissions already entered in the contest, mimic a previously established story arc or chain of events or replicate significant parts of text from previous submissions, as you're well aware of. The titles of the submissions are irrelevant and do not constitute violations by themselves.

There were no templated versions of submissions already entered in the contest, mimic a previously established story arc or chain of events or replicate significant parts of text from previous submissions.

Tie Me UP, Blindfold Me, & Spank Me, Exhibitionism With My Step Mom, and Lick My Feet And Suck My Toes are all brand new and original stories.

Show me where you find that these stories are a templated version of anything. I need to know how you arbitrarily make these rules.

What is wrong with you people? What can't you operate a fair contest for everyone.

Show me where I cheated. Show me where any of my stories are not original works. Show me or restore my points.

This contest is a sham.

Every one of my stories are original stories and not a template of anything. Show me where any of my original and new stories were templated.

If you cannot show me how you arbitrarily disqualified my stories, then please restore my points.

Why was Exhibitionism With My Step Mom disqualified?

Why was Lick My Feet And Suck My Toes disqualified?

Why was My Sexy Xmas With Daddy's Exes disqualified?

Why was I Love You Honey disqualified?

Why was Mrs. Santa Has A Girlfriend disqualified?

Why was Merry Christmas disqualified?

All of the above stories were disqualified under rule 6. Why?

They are all new and original stories. If you cannot show me that these are not original and new stories, if you cannot show me how you arbitrarily based your disqualification, then please restore my points.

If all you can do is reiterate rule number six under a different jargon that does not even appear in the rules, then this contest if fixed.

Are you serious? The submissions you named are all the same story! The events in one always unfold from another! Sometimes they even repeat sections of text verbatim!

For you to say that they are all the same story tells me that you didn't even read beyond the author's name.

Every story is different. Each story is original. All of my stories are stand alone.

None of them repeat any sections of any text.

Are you serious? The submissions you named are all the same story! The events in one always unfold from another! Sometimes they even repeat sections of text verbatim!

Even if, as you claim, these stories are all the same story, which they are not, there are two separate stories, the stories about my Stepmom and the stories about Men's Sexual Confessions, and Women's Sexual Confessions.

Now, if you claim that the stories are not stand alone stories, then even you must admit that the first story in the series cannot be disqualified, as they are, indeed, stand alone.

If the first story in the series is stand alone and if you reposted those first three stories in the sequence that you feel are not stand alone stories, than I would have 198 points, since one of those stories is in the BDSM Category and worth 3 points.

Only, you did this, disqualified all my stories, just to make sure that Boxlicker has more points than me. This has nothing to do with my stories not being stand alone because they are. It has to do with me, you not liking me, and you determined to get even for whatever imagined wrong you think I did to you.

None of them repeat any sections of any text.

Yes they do. Men's confessions series:

1st one: I'm Paul, the host of this party. Thanks for stopping by to read my story.

We were all sitting around the big screen watching the Super Bowl one year. I had invited all of my best buddies to watch the game with me. There were 21 of us guys, including me. Our wives and girlfriends were upstairs drinking wine, laughing, talking about kids and complaining about us, no doubt.

During half time, I thought it would be a fun thing for each of us to confess what his personal, sexual peccadillo was. Especially after we've all already had a few beers, instead of watching commercials, which we've all already seen a million times, the guys would rather talk about sex. Whenever there was a new commercial we haven't seen before, we stopped to watch that.

Only, I was shocked by what happened next. Instead of going around the room with each guy sharing a few intimate details about his sex life and about his wife, it turned into a men's meeting, an open forum, on sexual peccadilloes, so much so that we missed watching the second half of the game.

2nd one: group of men sit around talking candidly about their sex lives.

Anthony was first to volunteer. He told us how his wife, Ramona, enjoyed being tied to the bed, blindfolded, and spanked. We were stunned. Attending church every Sunday, Ramona looks so straight laced, we'd never expect her to be so kinky. One never knows what goes on behind closed door.

Bob was next to volunteer to confess his sexual peccadilloes.

He told us how he and his wife, Sue, enjoy dressing up and pretending to be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Role playing that fantasy excited them both enough to believe that they were actually the celebrity stars and enough for them to have hot sex. [This section is repeated in the 4th story]

Need I go on? All of the above repeats in every single one of these stories plus the paragraph talking about the person before added each time. The Women's is the same way. This is called a templated story. There is nothing new or original about it. The first is part of the series and the beginning of the template, therefore, it is not eligible for points either.

The stepmother stories are all connected to each other as they are the story of the ongoing relationship between the man, his step-mother, her girl-friend, and her daughter. This makes those stories chapters. They are not new or original because they play off the previous stories.

If you'll notice, your Black Book Diary series was not disqualified. The reason why is because even though they shared the main character (the narrator), they did not relate in any way to each other. Each story was new and original. That's why that series counted as points. Had you done that with the Men's and Women's confessions series and had them unrelated to each other instead of repeating blocks of text and continuing with the same story line, you would have been fine.

Get off this personal crap. Your score was tallied exactly like everyone else's. Others had numerous stories disqualified as well.

Every single one of those stories were not only stand alone stories but also unquely different.

You use your favoritism to twist the rules at the end of the contest to which ever way will benefit who you want to win.

None of my stories should have been disqualified and for you to disqualified all the stories in those three series just shows what assholes you all are.

None of these contests are fair and you two are the biggest bone fucking heads.

Now we have a new rule, the template story.

I read through the rules and you're not going to believe this but I couldn't find a rule that said you couldn't use a template story.

I even asked Noah about the "Arc" rule and he said the only Ark that he knows about is a fucking boat.

Hey, listen, Chubby, save yourself some aggravation next year and incorporate all these new rules that you just made up at the end of the 2009 contest and write them in the 2010 contest. That way, they'll be no misunderstanding and you two fuckups won't look like such the cheating assholes that you are.

I give up. You win.

Maybe if I was a dyke lesbian like you two, I could win a contest around here.

Rule #8 under stories and poems is not new. Take a look at previous year's Rules thread and you will find it.

Rule #8 Each story or poem must be original work from the entrant for points to be awarded. Stories and poems that had already been posted at Literotica.com, as well as translated, illustrated, narrated, transcribed or templated versions of submissions already entered in the contest are not eligible for points.
