6 Months!!

And I move to Germany to start a new job! HOLY SHIT! Today has been so surreal! What do I do, where do I start, is it for real, was I dreaming today?! Aaaahhhhh!!!! So excited and so fuckin scared at the same time. Long ways to move, long ways from so many beloved friends....wait a minute, they all live far away anyway...maybe they'll come visit me in Germany, unlike SoDak...lol.

Any suggestions anyone?! Will be there at least 3 years! Never lived outside the States, although I did spend 2 summers in England! OMFG! I am just so giddy/terrified I can't think straight...good thing no work tomorrow. Think I need a bottle of wine to calm down...

So...how the hell do you prepare to move across the world? I know people here have done it...any ideas?

You sound thrilled! I'm very happy for you. I think the time to do things like this is when you are young and single. Now that I have kids, I don't like being too far away from my family.

What a blast! I'm sure there will be people here who can tell you about Germany.
