50 red ballons

a while ago i put up a thread anonymously about whether or not I should say yes to the man I love despite a terminal illness, at the time I thought using the unregistered name made sense... there were a few people I had to talk to on here before I made it publically known that I am the person behind it, now that I have done so I wanted to thank everyone for their input and to let you know what has happened since....

yesterday I awoke to find 50 red, heart shaped ballons tied to my front porch, roses, chocs and a fluffy teddy bear... all the usual cliched Valentines Day parahenalia (sp?) and the suspense as to who the hell put them there... very early this morning my guy appeared wearing nothing but one of the said ballons covering his modesty and repeated his proposal.. without hesitation I said yes !!

so I just wanted to say a thank you to everyone who posted on the other thread and for putting into words what I already knew in my heart.... time means nothing when I am with him, I love him, he loves me and life is too short to miss opportunities based on what ifs and whens, nobody knows what the future will hold.. all I know is I'm going to be Mrs. Slinky instead of wench and that'll do for me.
