Well, it's improved a lot since our grandmothers' time, from what I've seen. There's hope yet. As in: I hope I'm patient enough to get to the day when men learn how to ask for directions and forgiveness (maybe not in the same breath).

I agree to a point....but in order for a relationship to work there has to be a 50/50 exchange... And I also think there should never be a double standard.. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. One can't do all the giving and one can't do all the taking......

The relationship I had was a give and take but the double standard got the old **Your jealous** crap. I am not a jealous person and I have accepted alots of different things in that relationship and none of it bothered me until the double standard started. I also do not take kindly to being punished because someone wants to be mad. I find that very childish. So when that happened I walked......and I am still walking. They know where to find me and if *real love* was there they would not hesitate to do so. Of all the testing I had he failed the biggest one with me......Loyalty. So I got my answer and moved on.......
