It's my Pops birthday. I have to visit my family for the afternoon, then get together with friends later. I just love spending the day around my Mother

I am going to TX to see a friend I haven't seen in about 10 years.... I'm so excited!! Leaving tomorrow and won't come home until Sunday..... or maybe even Monday....LOL

I work the overnite shift at my job wednesday nite
7/3 thru Thursday AM 7/4......I go home and sleep for a
while...then its fun time on 4th of July nite!!!!

Don't have definite plans yet though......

I'm playing in our beach club's annual sand volleyball tournament. That evening there is a wild party, with two live bands, and culminating with a huge fireworks show (shot over the Pacific so no danger of fires).

Cannot wait: Vball, mai tai's, and Cali ladies. YUMMMM

Fireworks are tonight- I can watch them from my backyard/deck once all the animals clear out.

Family will be here in about 15 minutes so it is almost time for me to check out for a bit. Can't have them find me on Lit when they get here, can we?

Tomorrow is a lazy day for me. I hope.

I'm gonna put up my flag at sunrise, and go on a Fourth of July motorcycle run to benefit a halfway house. There usually is about three hundred riders, and barring police interference, we stop someplace to eat and drink and make a restaurant owner rich! Of course, it's suppose to RAIN, so I'll wear my snorkel!

My phone has not rang with offers of, "Hey riff, let's go...." I'm all right with that... I'm all right with that (small miracle, eh?).

I guess I'll go to my parents, maybe take the boat out in the evening and watch fireworks downtown from the lake.

We'll see what happens- the day is young yet.

Quiet Morning

Putzing around the house this morning, then going to a party at the horse race track with friends. They rented a suite on the finish line. The track is having a big festival with music, carnival, (I think they're having races -- not sure) and fireworks tonight. My friends are having enough food & drink for a small army. It will be nice to watch the festivities from AIR CONDITIONED comfort!
