He was sworn in yesterday. And he'll be (have already been?) sworn in today again.

Is that some sort of double jeopardy?
 
There is no Royal, We, in the US of A. (None in the UK, if they stopped to tell the truth.)

In the end, the Brownification of the USA went off pretty much without a hitch.

That's a great question. If the guy never stopped being President from one term to the next, why does he need to retake an oath that he's already given?

Better he should take a polygraph. That at least would have some relevance.

I would love for every outgoing and re-elected president to have to submit to a polygraph with questions chosen by national poll.

Now here I would add, "every politician", should submit to a polygraph, but no machine would be able to withstand that much abuse.

I can't imagine your average politician couldn't beat the hell out of a polygraph. The only pre-req to beating it is they believe their own BS.
