I'm getting on in years, so 43 hardly seems geriatric to me, but does a fling between a 43-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man belong in Mature?

Thanks!

It probably would. It is a 20-year gap, after all.

I'm also glad you don't think 43 is geriatric, since I am less than ten days away from turning 44. ;)

If I weren't married, I'd probably be open to dating 25-50 (I'm right smack in the middle of those :) ).

Its enough of an age difference to work out well there. In fact I know someone who has complained to me several times that they expected "mature" to have more stories of older people as in 50's and up, but seems to be full of 40 somethings screwing people half their age.

Really? I thought you were younger. Seriously I'm not schmoozing you I thought you were late thirties.

It's only January and my daughters are already razzing me about hitting 46 in April:rolleyes:

Incidentally, I had a brief fling with a 45-year-old when I was 25, and it was fantastic :).

Funny how we change. When I was 19 I ended up messing around with a forty year old whenever her husband traveled

That set me up to have a serious thing for older women.

Now I'm 45 and older would be in the senior center.

So I now I notice I've gone the other way and started checking out the young ones and thinking about bringing them home.

The only obstacle is my wife. I told her we could share, but she still said no.

It could, it could also make a good romance premise! I've lived it!

Mature still fits better. The mature crowd loves a romance so you're hitting 2 sweet spots over there. In romance you get the occasional person that gets "squicked" by an age difference.

Younger women (and men) are pretty, but they're often not necessarily interesting people. They need some time to gain life experience. That said, my brother-in-law is dating a knockout blond college sophomore who is remarkably intelligent, mature, and engaging. But those are a rare breed.

Well at this stage of the game the fantasy would be of having a pretty little pet so life experience would not be necessary, I would be happy to give them some;)

I have 4 group sex stories on lit and all our based on my wife and I's favorite little fantasy of an older couple seducing a young girl usually one not very experienced.

But its a fantasy and just a fun thing to get us going, we wouldn't do it.

she wouldn't do it.

Given these value judgements, at 46 I suppose that I would be described as geriatric. However, I have discovered that all those stories about women actually reaching their sexual peak in their mid forties are in fact true. I also think the idea of being desired by someone in their twenties - male or female - at my "advanced" years would be very empowering. At least, I can dream...

Aw, shucks. ;) Nope.

Mr. Penn turns 46 tomorrow; I still need to get paper to wrap his presents. PennBoy turned 10 last week. I'll round out the month with a birthday next Friday. Then the February birthdays begin...

That was the other category I thought might fit, but as lovecraft said, some people might not care for the age difference. Funny thing is, though, I bet if it was an older guy/younger woman, it'd be fine in romance. Such is the double standard.

I started much younger, mine are coming up on 24/21

Don't worry about 44 Pennlady, I have been 44 for two weeks now and I do't notice a difference. Sucks more for me that my kid is now 21. :(

You make me feel so young!
You make me feel there are songs to be sung!

I'm feeling downright youthful after reading all of these! :p

You're chasing three kids around and teaching a bunch of them

I bet I feel younger than you.:D

OTOH, you probably get a bit more alone time. :) My kids are 10 and 5.

I didn't notice much of a difference between 42 and 43, so I don't expect much difference between 43 and 44. ;)

I have a cushy and generous federal pension. You don't get Social Security with one of those. But on top of that I've done lots of other work and also get Social Security for that. So, "What me worry?" It works to have worked your ass off.

And thanks for the irrelevant attention.
