The community is made up of the descendants of the early Magi settlers. They could have slaves that have been in the family for a long time, as well as ones that they buy, and might sell their slaves to each other.

There could be slave traders who regularly go to earth to kidnap people from our society. The process of training the knew slaves might be interesting.

45 years old and head of his house. His business is in slave trade and acquisition, though seldom performs the work himself any longer. He is a proud and stern man, though around fellow magi he lightens up and becomes rather jovial.

6’ tall, long very dark brown hair which matches his eyes – nearly black orbs. a dark soul patch on his chin.

Maintains an estate overlooking the town below. Owns a large amount and variety of slaves, as well as have a regular sale on them – usually fresh from earth, though occasionally trained slaves are sold as well.

Tanya and Anton are Yegor’s chief slave hunters.

I didnt wanna step on your toes and SAY that it was, though when i read your stuff last night, it seemed that would be an obvious place to me.

So if you would like it to be, then great. If not - its still a happy hunting ground.

trouble is dispensing with all those nasty machines like airplanes and ships and such.

Cant have them poluting our world

Bermuda would be perfect. A ship could pass right through between worlds.
I love spontaneity and enjoy the fantacies created by others.

PS, sailing ships should be acceptable. Like wagons are acceptable to the Mennonites

Not sure how powerful the magi are - can one, ore maybe a group of them disintergrate somethign like a ship or 747?

Annatalia is interested in knowing when the slave sale will be.
She will enjoy inspecting the new slave Kallisti. She might even buy the slave untrained, if she believes her to be a good mate for Scotty. Eric could be purchased also. He he he...

Kallisti already PMed me with some stuff, si i think i may keep her, at least for now (provided she is willing of course here) .

I left the others to be decided - in hopes we ahve more players that would like to play as one of them. All should be good phycical specimens for any breeding program too (football players and cheerleaders)

Name: Timothy "Tim" Hawkins
Age: 18

Appearance/Demeanor: Tim is about 5'10" and 170 lbs, tanned, and fairly muscular, though not in a bulky "body-builder" sort of way, with shoulder length dark brown hair and green eyes. He is decent enough to look at, fairly handsome, although not blatantly so. He's currently wearing a pair of "flip-flop" sandals, Khaki Docker shorts, sunglasses, and a Hawaiian shirt. Tim is normally somewhat quiet and shy, except for when he's around his friends.

Background: Tim is a typical college student, going to school for Art, Design, and Photography. He was headed down to Bermuda over spring break for a bit of partying with a few friends. Unfortunately, he missed the flight he was SUPPOSED to have taken because he got pulled over by a cop on the way to the airport, so he booked a flight for the next day, travelling by himself. He was planning to his hook up with his friends once arriving. Luck again didn't seem to go his way however...

So um...whats the currency on this planet? Acorns? LOL

I somehow doubt US dollars get you very far in a Magi world, so what would the money be? Maybe Gold coins, silver coins and Copper coins (ok, i stole taht from D&D i admit it).

Also what would constitue a LOT of money? or a little bit of money? Hard to pin down prices of slaves until the basis of the ecconomy is set.

Just kinda curious as to where I should go next, or if I should just continue along.

I'd rather not make stuff up without some sort of input from the people I'm writing with, so as not to step on any toes...since I'm not sure where the storyline is supposed to be headed or what might have already been planned, and my character's part of the story is kinda hanging right now.

i think hazel is having RL issue still, and has been unable to reach us very much.

That said I like the setting for this thread, but even when people come back to it, I think we need to think about some plot, some adversity or something to drive on a story.

Shandra is the descendant of English Mage who left Earth with the first settlers. She inherited a modest estate and stable of slaves, and through shrewd business deals and creative use of her powers she has expanded her holdings rather considerably.

She tends to be rather cold and reserved, often downright cruel to slaves she either dislikes or likes. She also takes great pleasure in returning to Earth to personally hunt fresh slaves.

She is very tight-lipped regarding her youthful appearance. She tends to shrug off the matter, chalking it up to "luck," or "good breeding (with a smirk) ".
