Made up by Banting in 1890s
Burned food to find fat has 3 times the energy as protein and carbs
It would be significant only if our bodies burned food with fire.
Science needs a update. TRuth be told the FDA and the food pyramid has caused more death and disease than any war in the last 100 yrs.

I just went through a phase where I was buying the whole wheat multi multi grain breads thinking to do my colon a favor. Then one day I just couldn't eat it anymore. I don't know, the seeds stick in your teeth. The slices are so huge that a whole sandwich is too much and a single slice sandwich isn't enough. I'm back to buying mushy white bread that dries out in a day. I must admit, the poops are indeed better with the grainy stuff.

The important part is to eat salad.

Thor would tell you celery but he is old and mean.

I don't like bread with seeds. I get seedless rye or pumpernickel. If I'm making breads it's usually biscuits or pizza dough. I don't like store bought plain white, though sometimes I get sourdough.

I'm eating coleslaw and apples today today. Cabbage is good. I'm not sure it qualifies as salad.

What's wrong with celery? I like celery.

When some manufacturer makes outrageous promises, I look for pine bark and chopped oak wood in the ingredients list.

This product contains multiple controversial ingredients
Contains naturally occuring vitamins and minerals
Low in Saturated Fat per serving
Contains fiber
Low in calories per serving
High in sodium per serving
Contains naturally occurring or added sugar(s)
(mutant chemical corn sweetener concocted in a laboratory ? It started out as corn.Is it the Blob? Or,The Thing ?)
