3rd time's a charm? I guess not...(my rant)

Well, here it is: my rant. I submitted my story with flawless spelling and punctuation and excellent readability; I was thrice rejected. The third time I submitted I included in the notes that if I was rejected without a SPECIFIC reason (as I had been the previous two times) I would simply not write anything for this site. The story that I will never resubmit is titled: A Mistake in the Darkness. I tried many times to get one of the editors to look at it for me; the one editor that actually responded to my inquiry did not respond when I sent her the actual story. Truly, this was no story of extreme sexual deviance, no uderage sex or non-consent took place in my story. This being my first submission, I was shocked and appalled at the way I was mechanically treated. Each submission got me the same impersonal thanks-but-no-thanks response. If I ever write a second story for this site, it would be a very strange thing after the way I was treated.

Laurel and Manu, I bear you no ill will, you have a rather large site to run and you probably have a tough time keeping up with every new writer that drops a story on your digital doorstep. However, being a 19-year-old male student, I am somewhat sensitive when it comes to my writing. I can't help but take it personally; the only way I will ever write for this site again is if someone actually contacts me and requests me to do so. Wow. I like Lit's rejection because they usually tell you why. Most of my rejection letters say "We can't use your piece as this time" without the benefit of a why.

However, since you can't find an editor, I've got some time this week. If you'd like, you can send it to me and I'll help you get it in condition where Literotica will post it.

If I were you, I'd take advantage of the previous two offers. KM in particular can get your story in shape. She knows what the site requirements are better than anyone, and she doesn't make that offer very often.

Personally, I think there must have been a content or formatting issue. Your spelling and grammar in your post were fine. One must assume that you took even more care in your story.
