3 things about you

I do this as well. I use pj's as loungewear around the house rather than sleepwear. I tend not to buy pj's very often because I don't use them all that much.

I fell asleep with pj's on the other day and woke up in the middle of the night feeling very uncomfortable. I took them off immediately.

I've always hated wearing socks to bed.

I can't wear socks to bed, either. The only time I've successfully worn socks to bed was when I was 10 and we were living in Missouri and the lights went out in the middle of the winter and we had electric heat. Mom, my sister, and I put on about three layers of clothing, piled all the blankets on the bed, and climbed in the same bed.

I have a problem with chocolate. I'm intolerant, but I can't resist it. We try not to keep chocolate in the house over night, cause I sleep walk and when I sleep walk I tend to munch. And if there is ANY chocolate in the house I will eat it all.

I'm really afraid of the dark. Even when I'm sleep walking I won't go anywhere dark, so when we have candy we keep it in the garage at night time.

I don't like socks period. I'll wear them but I'm a flipflop in the winter kind of girl.

I too have a serious chocolate addiction.

I get terribly insecure at times because I've missed out on things others have usually gone through by the time their my age. I'm very lucky to have people in my life who are sticking by me through all of this.

1. I am obsessed with stationary. Notepads, pens, post-it notes, pencils. I almost never use any of these things as pretty much all my writing is done on the computer

2. I cannot roller-skate. I have tried and tried to no avail.

3. I am terrified of electrified fences - we have a lot of them on farmland around here and I am always getting zapped. I do not enjoy it.

3.) I'm a little deaf (my own fault on that, though). Somehow, I have perfect pitch... but can't sing for beans.

Go figure.

*jealous* I wish I were pitch perfect :(

Not a fan of electrical play then? :p

That sounds really freaking tasty, damn.

Why is it that every single last "caribbean" restaurant around here has food that tastes like ass?

Aren't you in VA?

There's a not half bad jerk spot on Broad Street in Richmond.

But yeah, for the doubles you need a substantial Trini population.

There's a roti shack out by the Aqueduct racetrack in Brooklyn that I am known to travel an hour by bike to get to.

Doubles, curried goat, roti bread slathered with ghee, pepper sauce....

Me, too. I got zapped by one, once, bad enough to throw me backward. Now I just avoid that as much as possible.

I had a friend in junior high and high school who always had a crush on me. He wanted me to call him afterschool one day to help with homework. When we started talking about other things five minutes into the conversation, I realized I had been tricked.

This friend loved asking me about sexual things. He asked me at what time did I like masturbating most, and I said Sunday mornings. After that, he would tease me every now again by singing to me, "easy like Sunday mornings..."

One of our classmates knew we liked talking on the phone and he asked us what we liked to talk about. I said we talked about school, homework, people in class. My friend said we talked about self-love--I threw a pencil at him to let him know that was privileged information.

I used to be afraid of the dark too. Even a nightlight didn't help.

Even though I'm no longer afraid of the dark, sometimes I wake up from twilight sleep and see weird shapes. More than once I thought someone was trying to break into my room.

There never was anyone trying to break into my room.

I've heard music and voices in twighlight sleep, and if I'm drowsy shadows move and freak me out. I'm ok in the dark if I've got someone else in the room with me, but since K's left I'm back to sleeping with the hall light on.

I was never afraid of something trying to get in my room, even as a child. I was always worried about what was already IN my room. I cannot sleep with a door closed, cause I'm afraid it'll slow me down if I have to run from ... whatever it is that I'm afraid is in there. lol

1. I'm newly obsessed with organizing.

2. I hate instrumental jazz. I like to hear voices singing, not just the music. Funny, because I have no problem with classical music.

3. I am not ticklish.

I'm incredibly ticklish.

The sound of a man's strong voice just melts me.

I have horses as pets but have never ridden one.

How is my voice I wonder? It's been forever I know. Nice to see you on this side of Lit.

I'm addicted to Pepsi Max.

I count the steps on all the flights of stairs I walk up or down.

Even though my native language is Danish, around 80-90 % of the fiction I read are in English

1.) I have mitral valve prolapse. The way we found this out is I passed out at a great aunt's funeral.

2.) My senior year in high school, my step-sister was just starting kindergarten.

3.) When I was little kid I want to be an ambulance driver. Now that I actually have that I'm older and have one degree and most of another, I'm not really sure what I want to do.

Your voice is like deep, dark chocolate, darlin.

So nice to be here.

1. Stainless steel dishwashers make me weak with desire.

2. I've never been with 2 men at once.

3. I absolutely cannot sleep with the closet or bathroom door open.

1. I'm addicted to iced tea.

i'm also insanely addicted to iced tea, and i'm finicky about the brand (luzianne only). literally every other day i make a 3 qt pitcher, and 99% of the time i am the only one who drinks it.

1. im a dark choc junkie
2.i only come here when REALLY bored or trying to avoid working out
3. i love fall weather

1 - I'm the youngest of 8 but genetically an only child (my oldest sibling is 28 years older than me, 13 out of 19 nieces and nephews are older than me)
2 - I used to have a huge crush on James Garner
3 - For years, I didnt go to baby showers or decorate for holidays because I couldnt stand being reminded of what I couldnt have

LOL! I'll only drink Lipton, if it's black tea. Otherwise I only drink stash tea, and I LOVE their lemon balm tea. It's very soothing to an upset tummy.

I make a pitcher (2 qt's) a day, and I used to be the only one who drank it. The kids are developing a taste for tea, too, and they're starting to annoy me.

MY TEA!

Actually, I'm glad they're developing the good habit of drinking unsweetened tea. I just hate sharing my tea with them. Especially since they never make another pitcher unless they're kissing ass.

1. I cannot sleep unless the room is totally dark, with all the doors closed.

2. I have lived in my house for 10 years, none of my co-workers has ever been inside.

3. I look younger than my age.

1. I like cold pillows but the rest has to be warm warm and snuggly
2. I sleep in a hammock in my room
3. I've camped for a little over 2 months, while going to work each day (except weekends) and found it much much better than a house, with less hassles and distractions. Reading was better, writing was better, I had more time to fish, food tasted better and I was 3mins from the jobsite. Coffee on a campfire on a shivvery morning tastes better than a $5-10 coffee shop cup. Now that its fall, I'm glad to have 4 walls and a wood stove.

I'm this way about Dr. Pepper. Or even Dr. Pepper knock-offs; I'm not terribly picky. Just not diet because it's too sweet! If I have the money, I can literally drink a 2-liter or more every single day. Not the healthiest habit, though, so I'm down to about a can or less per day now.

I hate my job.

I'm currently looking for another one.

Today I officially have been working here for three years.
