1. Every time I speak/sing/dance/whatever in public is a victory in my battle over a lifetime of nearly crippling stage fright.

2. I look at my house and my kids and my life, and I wonder why I didn't I recognize those critical junctures that would've altered my path. They seem so obvious in hindsight.

3. The times when I actually feel sexy are few, fleeting, and far between.

Oh, and 3 more things:

1. I've borrowed Sea Cat's tagline for a tagline in one of my other forums, and also for the marquee in my screen saver at work. (Thanks, Sea Cat.)
2. Ever year I say I'm going to do our taxes as soon as our W2s arrive, yet always end up getting them in just under the wire. My W2 is sitting on my desk at work and I haven't been able to bring myself to stuff it into my purse and bring it home.
3. Currently, I need to go and use the head something fierce, but don't want to disturb the cat, who is still on my lap. I am minded of the story of how the Prophet Mohammed supposedly cut a piece off a sleeve of his robe rather than disturb, who'd fallen asleep on it. History does not tell what happened when, seconds after he'd done this, the cat woke up of its own accord, stretched luxuriously and walked off.
