Exercise ???? you have to be joking!
1. As part of my clearing and cleaning regime for packing up the house, I just dragged out the treadmill hidden away in the shed, cleaned it up (eeuuukkk - cobweb city), assembled it, and taken pictures prior to putting up for sale. I decided to give it a go once more, and strolled away for all of 30 seconds.
That was all it took to confirm my decision to put it away and not use it. Too much like hard work. Of course, the ciggie in one hand, and the glass of diet coke (go figure) in the other, might just have had something to do with it.
(Library note: I have done my time with running, badminton, squash, cycling. Been there, done that. Came to my senses in time.)
2. International athletics on the tv while writing, sets me pondering on what it is in their heads that persuades them that exercise at that level is fun, while for me, any exercise is nothing short of hell.
3. My ex and both sons, cycle competitively (a short pleasure ride is around 50 miles .... eek: ) and run (anything up to and including full length marathons). I walk to the corner shop for ciggies, crisps and chocolates. Guess they didn't inherit my genes that time.
Charm, good looks......those they got from me.
I know which I'd rather have.

- My favorite form of boring, gym-style exercise is the elliptical trainer, because I can read while I'm on it. The stationary reclining bike and the treadmill are next.
- I only exercise to avoid turning into a blob. Otherwise I'd be perfectly happy Internet surfing and computing the entire day.
- Currently I'm only seeing out of one eye. I got a corneal abrasion on one and the doctor told me to keep it patched up and not use it until tomorrow.

1. I work out pretty regularly... the gym I go to throws in a personal trainer to help with your training, and I usually go when it's pretty empty, so have one with me most of the time I'm there (the owner - I think he likes me). He was a Nazi in a former life, I'm sure, and I hate him while I'm at the gym, but thank him with all my heart when I get home.
2. It's already so hot during the day here, and so humid, that I can only stand to be outside for a few minutes at a time - unless, of course, there's a pool.
3. I am SO looking forward to my California trip...for several reasons. My daughter, my sisters are all there, going to see some old high school friends, and may get to see my Canadian sweetheart all at the same time. Life is good.

Everyones doing great here. My older daughter is adjusting to being a big sister very well. Just got back from Grammie and Grampies house and both the little ones fell asleep in the car.
(The house is so quiet right now... it's a little weird
