She is shoving the Goddess of Justice out of seat, and thrusting the Goddess down the steps.

Jesus is taking Goddess's place, and Amy Comey Barrett is sitting in Jesus the Christ's lap.
Zombie Jesus cannot be there in the flesh, so it is just an imaginary lap.

And, of course, she’s a hypocrite, conveniently ignoring her own 2016 statement
that seating a new justice should wait until after the election. But then … “hypocrite”
is just an alternative title for “Republican.”

Barrett’s not being criticized because she’s Catholic. She’s being criticized because
her past legal writings suggest that Catholic judges should, at times, follow their faith
instead of the law. Senators should absolutely be asking where she believes the line is
and when it should get crossed.

I should add: I’m acting like this is a normal confirmation hearing. It’s not. It’s a
hypocritical power grab by Republicans — before Ruth Bader Ginsburg has even
been buried — meant as a last ditch attempt to appease their base and make sure
there’s a conservative majority on the Supreme Court that could hand Donald Trump
a victory if he can throw enough wrenches into the functioning of our democracy.

I don't like the situation, but I'm not one to say RBG had any say at all on who followed her. Her say, indeed, was back when she was 80, long after someone should be retired, and she chose not to let the seat change under a Democratic president and Democratic Senate.

I also don't fault Romney for saying he'll vote for a conservative pick (even though I wished we weren't going to be getting another ultra conservative justice now). He's a conservative from a conservative constituency. He doesn't owe anyone that favor. It's what he and his constituency logically would want.

I think that enough Republicans in the Senate should signal to McConnell not to seat the justice before the elections, though--precisely to stay out of the Trump power grab issue. I don't think it's in their interests to prolong this Trump infestation, certainly not to encourage the constitutional crisis of it.

court judge, handed to her. Treachery, betrayal, and lies, are part of her inner core.
Amy Barrett has proved herself to be more than willing to step on a victim's body
to increase her reach to a seat that is not hers, by rights.

They instructed her on how it was done, and now she has the opportunity to grapple
with the Goddess of Justice.

Not, as if she will perform the task alone. Many will take their stab. It is only that
Amy Coney Barrett will be seen to take the last stab.

Trump has great admiration for "killers."

Amy Coney Barrett carries a poisoned blade, just as all of Trump Alliance cronies, do.
They cannot risk staging a fair fight.

Every advantage and weapon are to be used against a country that resists the rising of
The Evangelical Nation.

that President Donald Trump’s latest Supreme Court pick, Amy Coney Barrett, is current
*_______ a “stolen” seat on the bench.

“In May 2017, Trump nominated Barrett to IN seat on Seventh Circuit, which covers
Indiana, Illinois & Wisconsin. This is same seat to which President Obama nominated
Myra Selby, a Black woman, in 2016.”

“But Republican Senators blocked Selby’s confirmation and saved the seat for
Donald Trump,” she continued. “After Trump was elected Seventh Circuit lost
its only Black judge to retirement. The Shelby appointment would have retained
diversity on this court.

Proll added: "Instead, Trump appointed four white individuals to Seventh Circuit,
including Amy Barrett. The Seventh Circuit is now the only all-white federal
appellate court in the country.”

of prosperity we hope will greet the rest of us on the other side of the bullshit she and
her family presently stand for. The internet has proved USELESS in locating the designer
of her trench, matching set, and nude pumps, but pressed to describe the ensemble,
City Pages will henceforth refer to her as “Lady Snoke.”

This intergalactic theme would continue, as we joined on what was clearly Snokess's
first visit to Fleet Farm.

On her latest column for The Washington Post titled “A Good Debate and It’s Not Quite
Over,” author Peggy Noonan, a former Reagan speechwriter, wrote a scathing paragraph
dedicated to Sen. Kamala Harris. Noonan was triggered by Harris’ choice to dance in the
rain to her Mary J. Blige campaign song, “Work That” during a campaign stop in Florida
last week.

There are moments in time that speak to sheer joy. In a world filled with dire upswings in
COVID-19, an epic economic crisis, the rise of white supremacy, children in cages, and a
lunatic in the White House, we need hope, inspiration, and an uplift for our spirits.

Senator and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris provided one of those moments at
a campaign rally last week in Jacksonville, Florida, when during a rainstorm she danced
a moment, and later tweeted to supporters, “Rain or shine, Democracy waits for no one.”

As Biden-Harris supporters shared the photo and video clips on social media, making them
go viral, a holdover from the days of speechwriting for Ronnie Ray-Gun, Peggy Noonan
—currently a columnist for The Wall Street Journal—made the unfortunate (for her)
decision to turn Harris’ joy into an open diss.
