2019 Pretending To Live In A Trump Alternate Universe

There is no way to disguise it- Republicans chose a candidate
that would suit their needs.Unfortunately, Trump is so awful,
the Republicans and the Russians were tasked with convincing
their supporters to take part in a pantomime that would encom-
pass and involve all aspects of their lives. Not as difficult a task
as it would seem. Religion demands the same thing. Most of the
supporters of the Republican party are from religious communities.

In some parts of the USA, religion is a 24/7 activity.
Some political figures objected when politics stood
up inside the church house and preached (due to their
non-taxable standing) but that did not last.

Floating up from the past, a Reagan era Evangelical TV star reminds
me of what passed for info-tainment in the old days.

Having Ronald Reagan to entertain the religious masses, and his
circus of religious stars. His wife Nancy Reagan hated feminists,
OJ Queen Anita Bryant, hated LGBT. Phyllis Schlafly hated the
idea of equal rights.

For only $45 you can establish a “point of contact” with God via
a gold-plated coin engraved with President Trump and King Cyrus’
faces — according to the “Jim Bakker Show” at least.

The coin is being peddled by Lance Wallnau, who claims God
told him people need it to pray for Trump.

“When I asked the Lord, ‘Why the coin?’ he said ‘Because
when you take the coin, it’s a point of contact,’” Wallnau
said in the recording. “So your faith is being released with
a million other believers to pray protection and peace and
wisdom and counsel over the president of the United States
and over his family.”

Jim Bakker is back, with a television ministry in Missouri
and a wife named Lori. He's also selling food. Among the
freeze-dried products available on his website is a 50-day
"Survival Food" sampler bucket containing 154 meals.
It will cost you $135, but the idea is that you'll be prepared
when food shortages hit.

"Imagine — the world is dying and you're having a breakfast

JESSICA HAHN TELLS ALL

Bakker resigned from PTL (....) March, disclosing his encounter with Hahn.
She said she agreed to accept $265,000 for her silence, but broke that silence
when Bakker mentioned the encounter. The payments were stopped after that,
and Barbara said Hahn received $20,300.

Bakker and his top aides are under investigation for possible mail,
wire and tax fraud in a federal probe focusing on how the $172
million television ministry raised and spent money. Hahn is
testifying under a limited grant of immunity from prosecution.

Investigators are trying to find out whether PTL officials
conspired to falsify records -- including those involving
the Hahn settlement -- to protect the ministry's tax-exempt
status. They also want to know whether Bakker declared
as income on his tax returns all money PTL paid on his
behalf -- including the $265,000 intended for Hahn.

“No trespassing” signs went up on the Lancaster County side
of Regent Parkway recently stating it’s a private road. The road
belongs to developer Earl Coulston, and dates back to the former
Heritage USA park in Fort Mill. Coulston owned the section of
Regent Parkway in both York and Lancaster counties, but conveyed
the portion on the Fort Mill side of Sugar Creek to York County.

A representative at Coulston’s office said he wouldn’t be making
any more statements on the road issue, referring only to a letter
sent to Lancaster County last spring stating the developer would
give the road to the county. And that the company would still be
interested in letting the county take ownership of the road.

Regent Parkway is a major cut through from Fort Mill to Pineville
and Ballantyne in North Carolina, as well as Indian Land.

Some people pray 24/7 in order to block out the voices of the world

Some people include "Praise the Lord," in every statement that escapes their lips.

(I suppose that blocks out un-wanted thoughts.)

The multi-verses only know, how much dis-information it takes
to drown out the truth and the facts.

There is always someone willing to step forward and provide Trump with
his immediate, momentary political needs- someone that will help to cover
the wide Orange arse that fills the Oval office chair.

Trump's Pausible Denial gambit- "I did not formulate or create this
statement, (or cartoon, or video, or poster, or tweet!) I just quoted it."

How convenient for Trump, that someone has tweeted just the very thing that he needed,
to address a particular subject!

*tip of the hat, to Vera Bad- I found this article in a round about way book-

author, Bonnie Weinstein

"When Christians Break Bad: Letters from the Insane, Inane, and Profane"
(MRFF Letters) MRFF- Military Religious Freedom Foundation

"At the MRFF we constantly oppose all the fundies do to violate
fundamental separation of church and state."

Mike Farrell, the man who played the character of Captain B.J. Hunnicutt
in the M.A.S.H. TV series, is a member of the Board of Advisers for MRFF.

"These fundies in the military are the raw material of those who would
support a military coup d’état by Trump. Bonnie’s book shines a bright
light on on what they think and feel. We need to understand the mindset
of those who would destroy what our founding fathers had in their mind."
- Shockwave, writing for the Daily Kos

Bonnie writes about the history of separation of church and state in
America in great detail; As Thomas Jefferson wrote in his autobiography
in reference to the Virginia Act for Religious Freedom:

“Where the preamble declares that coercion is a departure from the
plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed,
by inserting the word ‘Jesus Christ,’ so that it should read
‘departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion.’
The insertion was rejected by a great majority, in proof that they meant
to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile,
the Christian and Mahometan, the Hindoo, and infidel of every denomination.”

Jefferson’s concept of “separation of Church and State” first became
a part of Establishment Clause jurisprudence in Reynolds v. US, 98
US 145 (1878). In that case, the court examined the history of religious
liberty in the US, determining that while the constitution guarantees
religious freedom, the word “religion” is not defined in the Constitution.
"But the military theocrats do not understand. Not all emails they send
are vile but they do shine a light on their mindset;

(the letter ahead, is from one of the loonies that oppose separation of Church and State)

Subject: Separation Clause MRFF, The term “separation clause” refers to
nothing found in the U. S. constitution. The idea that honoring God is
separate from our governance is a false concept proposed by those who
seek to undermine the corner stone upon which the founders built the
structure of government - “. . . endowed by their Creator . . .”.

I will pray for your spirits that you will know the true peace and
love that can come only from God. Blessings, (Name withheld)

And Mikey’s response; (to said loonie)

Blessings, (Name withheld) …sorry, (name withheld), the word
“God” appears NOWHERE in the Constitution for a reason..
we do however have GENERATIONS of bedrock caselaw
which incontrovertibly carves a deep chasm between church
and state in America…just as The Founders fully intended…
please spare me your disingenuous prayers…pray perhaps
instead for your OWN enlightenment about how our wonderful
country works… all best,
Mikey Weinstein

(my eyes flew wide open, when I read this phrase- para-church political organizations-
Reminds me of para-military political police.)

Nina Burleigh , writing for Newsweek, continues the conversation-
"Ralph Reed's Faith and Freedom organization, for example, can
marshall tens of thousands of people very, very quickly."

Russell D. Moore, a pastor and author—and the president of the
Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, answers the question:

"Sure, but I think there's a difference between para-church political
organizations of which there are groups among every constituency
and every ideology in American life, and speaking of the church as
a whole. I mean I often tell secular journalists that the frustrating
thing for me is that often many people who don't actually know
very many evangelicals think of us as cicadas who go into dormancy
in between every caucus.

remember all of those soldiers that attended Trump's Ego parade, and had

Soldiers told to mimic the party line, while guarding the military
weapons of war on the People's White House lawn, and get lectured
to join the Evangelists, because they are the only true children of
God and Jesus. BTW, is not legal for officers in the military to
force Evangelism on soldiers. Of, course, the officer was
preaching to Muslims, people that follow the Jewish tradition,
and people that believe in eastern philosophies and religious practices.

When your superior officers are "fundamentalist (Evangelist ?)
Christian predators and bullies"

October 16, 2017

Weinstein said in an interview that the notion the event was voluntary
was contradicted by the soldiers who flooded MRFF’s phone lines and
email boxes with complaints, Weinstein said the soldiers said they were
not only told they had to go, but that the barracks would be scoured for
“introverts” who were trying to avoid attending.

Though there may have been an operations order indicating that the
event was voluntary, Weinstein said that MRFF clients at the post
have told him that typical spiritual fitness events attract 125-130
soldiers, while the event Saturday drew more than 500, There
were also four chaplains on hand for the event.

In his letter to Morrison, Weinstein wrote that the soldiers’
“Army superiors have trampled all over their constitutionally-
guaranteed civil rights not to have the United States Army
violate the No Establishment Clause of the First Amendment
of the Bill of Rights of our United States Constitution.”

Weinstein wrote that the majority of MRFF’s clients in
the matter are practicing Christians who understand that
“forcing soldiers against their will to ... accept that particular
Christian majoritarian faith is blatantly and wretchedly wrong
from a moral, ethical and, especially, legal perspective.”

"Debunking the ‘Charlottesville Hoax’ Theory Trump’s
Defenders Are Using to Rewrite His Praise of White
Nationalists"

August 9, 2019

So the “Charlottesville Hoax” theory alleges:
(1) Trump condemned neo-Nazis, and
(2) there were, in fact, fine people on the side
protesting the removal of confederate statues.

To prove point (2), Cortes cites a 2017 New York Times
report on Charlottesville, which included an interview
with a woman named Michelle Piercy.

"There is your “fine” person, Cortes claims.

But Piercy failed to disclose to the Times that she actually
attended the rally as a member of the American Warrior Revolution —
a fringe right-wing militia that arrived in Charlottesville armed.
Piercy also failed to disclose her claim that she was there not
as a protester, but as a “neutral peacekeeper.”

The AWR was one of several anti-government, paramilitary groups
present at Unite the Right, many of which patrolled the protest with
AR-15s while also donning variations of the Confederate flag,
Gadsden flag, and American flag in patches on their military gear.
Citing “free speech” concerns, these militia groups often show up
at fascist rallies to defend white supremacist groups against anti-
racist protesters seeking to disrupt.

In another interview, Piercy had a different story than what she
told the Times. While talking to Media Equalizer, she disclosed
her ties to AWR and claimed to have acted as only “a neutral
peacekeeper” in Charlottesville.

claimed to him that he was given the award at a Lincoln Day

there was no award, just a speech.

At least seven times since November 6, 2016, including
at his rally last night, Trump has claimed that he was
once named Michigan’s Man of the Year.

All signs point to this never having happened.

What prompted FOX TV and the Trump Alliance info-tainment media
to mount an attack on the NY Times ? Trump is damaging his very own
"brand." Trump's image is suffering damage, because the press and media
are presenting accurate reporting. When Trump appears on the world stage,
with other world leaders, he is unprotected from the truth, and it is difficult
to manufacture propaganda for alternate world dwellers. In a private, closed
session, they may not be able to control Trump, but at the least, they can edit
what is made public, for the consumption of their core supporters.

Operation Targeting Journalists Seen Unfavorable to Trump
Is Allied With the White House: NYT

A loose network of conservative operatives allied with the White House
is pursuing what they say will be an aggressive operation to discredit
news organizations deemed hostile to President Trump by publicizing
damaging information about journalists.

It is the latest step in a long-running effort by Mr. Trump and his
allies to undercut the influence of legitimate news reporting.
Four people familiar with the operation described how it works,
asserting that it has compiled dossiers of potentially embarrassing
social media posts and other public statements by hundreds of
people who work at some of the country’s most prominent
news organizations.

The group has already released information about journalists at
CNN, The Washington Post and The New York Times — three
outlets that have aggressively investigated Mr. Trump —
in response to reporting or commentary that the White House’s
allies consider unfair to Mr. Trump and his team or harmful to
his re-election prospects.

Operatives have closely examined more than a decade’s worth
of public posts and statements by journalists, the people familiar
with the operation said. Only a fraction of what the network claims
to have uncovered has been made public, the people said, with
more to be disclosed as the 2020 election heats up. The research
is said to extend to members of journalists’ families who are
active in politics, as well as liberal activists and other political
opponents of the president.

Trump Allies Target Journalists Over Coverage Deemed Hostile to the White House

https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/na...white-house/YEWTH2LX2ypgEcXlQtEAXP/story.html

Kenneth P. Vogel and Jeremy W. Peters New York Times

August 25, 2019

The operation is targeting the news media by using one of the most
effective weapons of political combat — deep and laborious research
into the public records of opponents to find contradictions, controversial
opinions, or toxic affiliations. The liberal group Media Matters for America
helped pioneer close scrutiny of public statements by conservative media
personalities.

Conservative operative James O’Keefe has twisted that concept in ways
inconsistent with traditional journalistic ethics, using false identities,
elaborate cover stories, and undercover videos to entrap journalists
and publicize embarrassing statements, often in misleading ways,
to undercut the credibility of what he considers news media biased in favor of liberals.

In the case of the pro-Trump network, research into journalists
is being deployed for the political benefit of the White House.
It is targeting not only high-profile journalists who challenge
the administration, but also anyone who works for any news
organization that members of the network see as hostile to
Trump, no matter how tangential that job may be to the
coverage of his presidency.

And it is being used explicitly as retribution for coverage.

bodysong comment-

Trump fuckery has progressed.

A steady attack on the press and news media, has been a part of the
Trump alternate world, since the beginning-

They cannot prevent the press from publishing their findings.

It is within their abilities to attack the people that produce the findings.

Delicate path to tread- lies and slander do not do well in the courts of law.

Blackmailing journalists into silence ?
Discouraging journalists from participating in their profession ?

(Not as if Trumpists have an aversion to telling lies. Some went to
prison because of the lies that they told.)

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution
prevents the government from making laws which respect an establishment
of religion, prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom
of speech, the freedom of the press, the right to peaceably assemble,
or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances.

"The point is not, after all, to expose wrongdoing."

"The point is to intimidate and to silence any member of the press
who can be silenced. The accusations do not need to be compelling,
or even true, to accomplish that goal."

- Hunter
August 26, 2019

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/20...ation-against-journalists-who-displease-Trump

According to a report from the New York Times, a new effort has emerged,
involving the compiling of “dossiers of potentially embarrassing social
media posts and other public statements by hundreds of people who
work at some of the country’s most prominent news organizations.”
One source familiar with the operation claimed that it discovered
potentially “fireable” info on “several hundred” people. According
to the Times, the project is led by 47-year-old Arthur Schwartz,
who maintains connections to several of the president’s close or
former allies: He is friends with Anthony Scaramucci, has worked
with Steve Bannon, and serves as an informal adviser to Donald
Trump Jr. According to the Times, Schwartz’s willingness to defend
Trump has paid off:

Trained as a lawyer, Mr. Schwartz has endeared himself to members
of the president’s family by becoming one of their most aggressive
defenders, known for badgering and threatening reporters and others
he believes have wronged the Trumps.

He has publicly gone after Republicans he views as disloyal,
including the former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus,
about whom he admitted spreading an unsubstantiated rumor.
He has called himself a “troll on Twitter,” which is where he
has boasted of being aware of, or having access to, damaging
information on dozens of journalists at CNN and the Times
that could be deployed if those outlets ran afoul of Mr. Trump
or his allies.

The threat wasn’t empty: In recent months, Schwartz has dredged up
tweets from a CNN reporter using a gay slur in 2011 and a CNN
photojournalist’s anti-Semitic tweets from the same year.
Though the White House and the Trump campaign have both
denied involvement in Schwartz’s project — and the consultant
himself downplayed his importance — the efforts are consistent
with Trump’s strategy to discredit journalists covering his
administration. Newsrooms are certainly taking it seriously,
and do not consider the unearthing of their employees’ foul
tweets equivalent to the publishing of past objectionable
statements of politicians.

Per the Times:

http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/08/in-war-on-press-trump-allies-weaponize-bad-posts.html

Stephen Colbert recently said in his well-worth-seeing interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper,

“Our president wants to live in a fantasy world
where only the way he perceives the world is the way it is…
He’s also trying to convince us that that is the only world that exists…
It’s extremely solipsistic, but he’s also trying to invite us into this madness
that he has. And that is heresy against reality.”

"In the end, the biggest conspiracy is Trump’s—
he and his followers in the GOP further radicalizing to the point
of violence those who are alienated and furious. They do so with lies,
bigoted language and taunts against anyone they perceive lower on
the rungs than they because of race or religion or gender.

They tear down rules and regulations as they ignore the warnings
of those with the expertise and scientific knowledge to keep us
safe and secure. They trash and threaten anyone supporting
progressive ideals of social justice. Or the truth."

"That way madness lies."

And eat your cake too!

While President Obama fought the neverending battle of No from Republicans,

Meanhile, a creepy clown said horrible things, and secretly did
disgusting things.

The creepy crawly invited its friends inside the cake.

The creepy clown sat on the cake.

The cake cratered because it was empty inside.

The creepy crawlies devoured everything but the walls

It is simply amazing (and unbelievable) of what is presented to
the people that are Pretending To Live In A Trump Alternate
Universe, as the truth.

I do not think that it is meant to be accepted as the truth,
or believed to be the truth. Just a useful weapon to deflect
reality-based facts, evidence, and most importantly, testimony.

It is numbing and stunning, that intelligent, adult people installed
in responsible, important positions in our goverment, are able to
mouth these absurd defensives, at all.

Then, again, they are all up to their necks in it, and they are
trying to save their skins. They might say anything. It is
grotesque that they are willing to destroy a nation, just
because they are greedy, and cowards. The scum has
surely risen to the top of the swamp.

Is it providing a firewall for the president?

DARCY: Sure. If you watch outlets like Fox, it's not enough
really to say Brian that they're being dishonest. It is an inverse
image of reality. And what I mean by that is, if you watch Fox,
it's not president Trump who has potentially abused the powers

If you watch Fox, it's not Trump who is lying to the American
people on a regular basis He's the truth teller. If you watch Fox,
it's not the right-wing fever swamps who are spreading conspiracy
theories, it's the mainstream media.

Total inverse image of reality. And if Trump does happen
to survive this deepening scandal, I think he can only credit
this right-wing media machine for poisoning the public dialogue
and distorting truth for millions of people to the point where people
can't tell what is happening, what is the truth and what is fiction.

that was broadcasted by media and press. This was a direct phone call made by
the leader of the USA, and there was much travel from the USA to Ukraine by
Trump operatives. The emails, the documentation, the witnesses, and now
testimony made to a Congressional inquiry. Ukraine and Ukraine's new leader
are stuck with Trump's circus, almost as much as the USA is.

Trump claims that Mike Pence was more involved in Ukrainegate,
than he was.

(Strange moment, when Trump threw Pence under the bus.)

Trumpypants said that Rick Perry made him call Ukraine.

The All - Powerful, Limitless, Un-Bound Trumpypants is granted
his abilities by God/god himself.herself, it,

yet he is bullied into doing something Rick Perry, the Energy Secretary.

Yes, Trumpy always has someone else to blame for his very own blunders.

THEODEN: "Why should I welcome you, Gandalf Stormcrow?

GRIMA: A just question, my liege. (he gets up and walks towards
Gandalf) Late is the hour......in which this conjurer chooses to appear.
(the menacing group move nearer to them) Lathspell I name him.
Ill news is an ill guest.

GANDALF: Be silent. Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth.
I have not passed through fire and death......to bandy crooked words
with a witless worm. (he lifts his staff in front of Grima's face)

GRIMA: (looks shocked) His staff. I told you to take the wizard's staff.

The menacing group move to attack Gandalf. Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli
fight them off. Gandalf continues to walk towards Theoden. Gamling
prepares to join the fight, but Hama holds him back

GANDALF: Theoden......son of Thengel......too long have you sat in the Shadows.

Grima sits up in an attempt to get away, but is stopped by Gimli
standing on his chest with one foot

GIMLI: I would stay still if I were you.

GANDALF: Hearken to me! I release you......from the spell.
(he holds up his hand, closing his eyes)

THEODEN: (laughs mockingly) (Gandalf opens his eyes)
You have no power here ......Gandalf the Grey.

Gandalf, angered, throws off his grey cloak. Theoden is thrown back
by a bright white light

GANDALF: I will draw you, Saruman, as poison is drawn from a wound.
(he thrusts forward his staff, which throws Theoden back in his chair)

Pretending to live in a Trump Alternate Universe, is pretending to live
where reality is reflected in a carnival's Fun House mirror.

(Trumpypants is sniffling, again. Talking a blue streak to the press.)

Trumpypants is attacking Democrats as traitors to Trump-
while Trumpypants commits treason against the United States
of America.

Presiderp Trumpypant's attorney Rudy Giuliani said he would not

the president unless Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff is removed
as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Speaker Pelosi released an official statement saying this --

"The White House should be warned that continued efforts to hide

You will be held accountable."

Armed conspiracy group will defend Republicans
at Minneapolis Trump rally

October 9, 2019

Republicans will be escorted to and from their cars.

That duty will fall to Oath Keepers, a “patriot” group-
whose members fancy themselves as “guardians of the republic.”

Or as the Southern Poverty Law Center calls them,
one of the largest radical anti-government groups
in the U.S. today.”

The group has shown up heavily armed at the Ferguson,
Missouri protests and Cliven Bundy’s Nevada standoff
with the federal government. So bringing them to Minneapolis
is a bit like dumping lighter fluid on a national forest.

Donald Trump has been stiffing cities all over the nation
\for unpaid security expenses, and now he’s threatening to sue
the City of Minneapolis because they want him to pay upfront
for his hate rally scheduled for tonight.

So the Trump campaign is now hiring outside security for some
of the Minneapolis work, which sounds like it might be
an improvement, right?

Except the “security service” they’re hiring to escort Republicans
into the Target Center is “one of the largest radical anti-government
groups in the U.S. today,” according to the Southern Poverty Law Center —
the heavily armed paramilitary Oath Keepers, a group that was formed
in 2009 because America elected a black president and militia/survivalist
crackpots across the country were panicking.

Will these security groups be wearing fascist black shirts or nazi brown shirts?
Given trump more resembles Mussolini than hitler I'll go with the black shirts.

It is not as if it is real for the People That Pretend.
They know it is manufactured propaganda, without
a shred of truth to it. But, they have photographic
(falsified) proof and videotape (that is not real) to
point at, and to back up their (false) claims.
Is that not the point ?

Kamala’s Fake Lover: Jacob Wohl Told Me it Was for a Spike TV Show

The duo behind botched smears against Elizabeth Warren, Robert Mueller,
and Pete Buttigieg have truly outdone themselves.

The pair’s bogus accuser—26-year-old Sean Newaldass—told The Daily Beast
on Friday that he had no idea the event in which he alleged that he was in a
romantic dalliance with the Senate was real. That’s because Newaldass
had met Wohl and Burkman by replying to an ad posted on Craigslist
seeking a “male actor” for “performance art.”

Kamala’s Fake Lover: Jacob Wohl Told Me It Was for a Spike TV Show

Inept conservative operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman held
another bizarre press conference in Burkman’s driveway on
Wednesday, this time to smear Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA)
with obviously fake allegations of an extramarital affair.

The pair’s bogus accuser—26-year-old Sean Newaldass—
told The Daily Beast on Friday that he had no idea the event
in which he alleged that he was in a romantic dalliance with
the Senate was real. That’s because Newaldass had met Wohl
and Burkman by replying to an ad posted on Craigslist seeking
a “male actor” for “performance art.” When he showed up at
Burkman’s Virginia home and delivered his lines alleging an
affair, Newaldass was under the belief that the press conference
was actually an audition for a Spike TV show. He said he had
no idea that Harris was a politician. Indeed, he assumed she
was a fictional person.

“I thought I was acting for a role in a movie, like a role in
a TV series,” Newaldass said. “I thought everything was
staged, I’m thinking everyone is an actor.”

Newaldass insists that he believed that everyone at the event,
from Wohl and Burkman, to the reporters asking questions,
and a heckler dressed as a corncob, were all actors.
Wohl promised Newaldass $500 to appear at the
event—money that Newaldass said he still has
yet to receive.

“I’m thinking this is going to be like The Office,”
Newaldass said. “The Office has super dry humor.”

As a Democrat, the absurd quality of the statement
