I'm right behind you, 4 more months. Funny, i don't feel any older. Keep getting carded so I guess the natural silver highlights i've decided to let stay aren't making me look any older. The liquor store owner tonight stared at my liscence a while, then put his glasses on and stared again. Kinda an ego boost, if a lil annoying.

I'm right there with you kitte, 13 more days til I turn 30.
I can't decide how I feel about it. On one hand I think, I've made so many mistakes in my 20s I'm almost glad to move on. But on the other hand, I feel like I've accomplished so little.

The only b'day that ever bothered me was 29. Don't ask me why, I found it utterly depressing, but got over it fast enough. (Picture one of those old movies with the calendar pages flying off the wall....)
30's are good. Personally I find my 40s the best. FINALLY feel like I fit in my skin.
There are many more important things to stress over. Don't fret -- just keep on keeping on. You'll be just fine!

Turning 30 was fine for me. I had a cool house and had just started a new business... I'm 40 next year and have decided the last ten years that life is what YOU make it.

At 30...I was supposed to be happily married... own a house, have a car I owned outright, I was supposed to have finished my book...I was supposed to be more then I am...I have accomplished NONE of the above...
