Obviously, you've received tons of positive feedback. Your photos show a fit healthy attractive young woman with no detectible body issues. Has your thinking moved into alignment with reality?

I thought I might share some different pictures at this point--ones that show a little less flesh. Not sure if anyone's interested, but what the hell. It's my thread, anyway!

These first two pictures are from my junior year prom. Pretty much the only reason I went was because I found that dress in January and found the boyfriend in February. Prom was in May. The universe was pretty much telling me to go. Plus my grandparents had given me these amazing genuine pearls--but where is a 17-year-old supposed to wear them?

Over the summer my fiance and I went on vacation. The highlight for me, as a horse-person, was a 3-hour private ride on the beach! During the ride, professional photographers would photograph you--hence these two are big, crisp, and colorful.

(The fiance WAS with me by the way, but I didn't want to put him on the Internet without his permission. Plus he's not really a rider and is holding the reins up near his shoulders in every picture. )

You should probably understand, that while you may see the pictures of yourself in riding pants as "not so flattering" or however, most guys, and by most I mean, ALMOST ALL guys, love a girl with your figure. I'd say I have a fairly different body type than most girls who ride. Many of them are super skinny, waif-like types with long, strong legs. My body type is a strange mixture of athletic and curvy, which has advantages and disadvantages. Big hips might look awkward in breeches, but they provide a low center of gravity in the saddle. I can't get rid of the stretch marks on my inner thighs, but they've definitely got some strength.

Fflow, that's very considerate of you to ask that question. I still have my issues sometimes. It's never fun to come across a pair of jeans you can't fit your thighs into, and it's disappointing accidentally buying a thong too small to the point that it cuts into your hips like the netting around a ham.

At the same time it's amazing to receive positive feedback, especially for pictures I'm nervous about posting. I'm taking steps to become more comfortable with myself. (Getting my nipples pierced was something kind of along the same lines as posting myself here.) Every time I read a post it makes me really happy. So I appreciate EVERYONE'S comments; you guys are doing an awesome job on this young girl's self-image!

I love a lady who knows what to do in the saddle... (which you obviously do)... and I know that guys may never admit it, but a gal in english breaches & tall boots is MUCH hotter than if she's in tight jeans and cowboy boots..
