..

"You have no idea what it was like," my uncle Phallanx tried to explain. I, a young man of 21, was hearing for the first time that my last name wasn't really "Fornicors" after all.

"Back in the motherland, our name preceeded us, our reputation paved the way for business deals, social invites and even political positions. Power, money and popularity was ours for the taking." He sighed, then sipped his coffee and whiskey, a mixture I had tried, but couldn't get used to the taste.

"But here..." he shook his head and spit, "once Americans heard the grand name of "Fornicator" we were dubbed 'family fuckers' outcast as incestuous creeps, not allowed in any church. No one wanted to do business with us, there were no party invites and politics," he sneered, "no fucking way!"

Just then, my sister Elizabeth entered the room, her 19 y/o body bounced across the room, her butt jiggled in her short shorts.

Suddenly, the name Fornicator didn't seem out of line.

This is our story, or at least one of them. You see, in our homeland long ago our family was given a traditional name that had great meaning and pride. Unfortunately, when we moved to the wester world, we found that our name that didn't translate well into English. It was our great uncle Phallanx who conceived the idea to simply remove the 'at' from the last syllable to allow us to use a name preserved our tradition and that gave us comfort.

Now, from there, it's up t'y'all to carry the story on and make it your own.

Don't understand the concept? Add the 'at' back into the name Fornicors.
I would be open to hearing more on the idea. Would love to talk in pm about it.
